Amy's POV
Anthony looked so cute as he slept. I released myself from his grip and found my underwear and a shirt of Anthony's to put on. I creeped out of his bedroom and walked into the kitchen. I opened his fridge and saw the left over pizza from last night. I didn't really feel like eating that. I looked around and pulled out the orange juice and the carton of eggs. I poured myself a glass of juice and found the a frypan.
"Just help yourself to my fridge won't you?" Anthony said coming over and placing both his hands on my hips.
"I already have." I smirked.
"And I see you've taken my clothes as well. I wondered where I put that top." Anthony chuckled and pecked my lips. "It looks better on you anyways." He flirtatiously said.
"How do you like your eggs?" I asked and poured him a glass of juice.
"Sunny side up." Anthony said and unlocked his phone.
"Phillipa has invited us-"
"Us?" I questioned shocked.
"Phillipa has invite us to see if we wanna go ice skating with her and Steven." Anthony said and looked at me with an raised eyebrow.
"What?" I said cracking the eggs in a pan.
"Do you wanna go?" He shrugged.
"Where is it?" I asked him sipping on my juice.
"Rockefeller Centre." Anthony replied.
"Sure. I suppose so." I smiled passing him his plate of eggs and toast.
"Thanks." He smiled. "I'm gonna keep you around here for longer. You cook for me after we have sex. I like that." Anthony smirked and I cut into my eggs and ate.
"Doesn't Jasmine cook for you?" I questioned.
"Well, she does. But not after sex. We haven't none it in ages."
"O-oh. I was joking. I didn't realise you and Jasmine had a thing." I gulped guilty.
"Yeah. Ages ago though. Don't worry about it." Anthony said shrugging. "I have you around now."
"I'm not gonna be your slave." I rolled my eyes.
"No. But you could be my girlfriend." He smoothly said.
"Okay freckles." I giggled.
"Huh? Just like that?" He was taken aback.
"Isn't that what you meant?" I said putting my plate in the sink.
"Y-yeah. But I didn't think you were gonna respond like that. I thought you were wanna make me buy you flowers, or something, or even take you out or a date." Anthony said finishing his plate.
"Oh yeah. Do that first. And then I'll be your girlfriend." I laughed.
"I'm being serious though." Anthony said now standing next to me.
"I wouldn't mind you being my girlfriend, but the only thing stopping me is Lin's rule. Imagine what he would do to me." Anthony said putting his hands on mine.
"We could just hang out as friends all the time. Until it's okay for us to break the rule." I smiled. That was so hard to say. It hurt.
"But we'll have casual sex and stuff, right?" Anthony asked.
"So, you're saying. We'll do relationship things, but not be in a relationship?" I asked him. I'm so confused.
"Yeah." Anthony nodded.
"Okay." I smiled kissing his lips."Here's your hot chocolate." Anthony said passing me the hot cup. We were sitting on a bench chair waiting for Phillipa and her boyfriends Steven to rock up. She said that she would get there at 11am. It's now 12pm.
"Do you think we've been set up?" Anthony asked me as he took a sip from his coffee.
"Who knows?" I sighed and Anthony's phone buzzed.-Emergency rehearsal. Today. 12:30pm. Everyone needs to come.
I looked at Anthony puzzled. "Everyone needs to come? I-I didn't get the text."
"He probably just meant the cast." Anthony said and looked out in front of us.
"You can come if you want." He offered.
"Nah. It's fine. I've got work to do anyways. Can I have the key to your apartment?" I smiled standing up and holding my hand out for him to give me his key.
"You sure you're okay?" He asked me.
"Yeah. It's probably not even that important. Anyways. Wouldn't Lin get suspicious if we arrived together. The other day Daveed and Hope shared a taxi to get to the theatre and he went ape shit crazy at them. Daveed's with Jalene anyways." I said to Anthony.
"I'll see you later. Text me when you're leaving." I smiled.
"Amy. Wait. You forgot something." Anthony said grabbing my arm and pulling me back towards him. He slowly kissed my lips.
"I'll see you later." He said and we parted ways.I finally got back to Anthony's apartment. I boiled the kettle and made myself some ramen noddles. I was on the phone to Benny from Uni.
"I don't understand how you finished our assignment so fast." He complained.
"Dude. It was a budget task. They're so easy." I laughed and sat down. I turned my laptop on and placed my phone next me to putting Benny on speaker phone.
"What did you do? Can I copy you?" Benny begged.
"No way!" I laughed.
"Come on Amy."
"Benny. You copied my work last time. Remember." I sternly said. I opened up a spread sheet to begin work on the opening night of Hamilton.
"Pleeeeease can I help you then?" Benny begged over the phone. He is always like this. Procrastinating.
"Fine." I groaned.
"Okay. So, the theatre will provide the drop set. Reporters and interviewers will be there. Uhm. I need to still figure out catering." I said as I emailed a catering company. "They'll just do little bites and stuff." I told him.
"I've also gotta figure out entertainment. I was thinking of just paying a local band or something just to keep the mood uplifting." I smiled as I opened more tabs on my laptop. "I also need to figure out alcohol requires and if I can use the kitchen at the Public. I need to know if they allow balloons and decorations and I need to-"
"Amy. If you ever need help. Remember I'm here to help." Benny offered. I continued to munch on my ramen noodles.
"Thanks Benny." I said.
"So, who's this client. You said he was at the Public Theatre." Benny curiously asked.
"Yeah. Lin-Manuel Miranda-"
Benny screeched.
"No way! The Lin-Manuel Miranda. As in 'In The Heights' Lin-Manuel Miranda?" He screamed. Thank god he was on speaker and not on my ear.
"Yeah sure." I said focusing on my work.
"Amy! You didn't tell me!"
"I'm so sorry Benny." I lowered my voice. You see, Benny actually grew up in Washington Heights- and still lives there now. He was lucky enough to see In The Heights when it was on Broadway. He claims that Chris Jacksons character is actually him because his name is Benny. "Anyways. Can you see now why I didn't tell you sooner?" I laughed.
"Well no." He joked. "I can't believe I didn't put two and two together. I was wondering when Lin was going to do something new." Benny said over the phone. I could tell he was excited.
"Anyways Benny. I've gotta go make some phone calls. If you wanna help me out, I'll try and get you a ticket to the show. But promise me, you won't tell anyone." I demanded.
"Cross my heart." He said and I hung up. I sighed. I've got so much work to do. In so little time.
