Sumire's POV
                          
The next day, some of the best medical ninja in the village came to examine me . They told me that there wasn't any known jutsu that could restore my eyes. Yep. That's right folks.
                          
The Akatsuki  stole my damn eyeballs!
                          
Everything Deidara warned me about came back to mind. They needed the Torigan and now they have both my eyes. All day, everyone's been trying to cheer me up. I mean, yeah I'd love to have my eyes back as much as the next person, but there's no hope.
                          
I'm still the same awesomely awesome QUEEN SUMIRE! And I do still have my family and friends, right? Life isn't so bad.

My parents and a few other friends had just left my hospital room. They say they left some 'get well soon' cards and stuff. Now I was just with my team. Squad 7 was just the best squad ever - even with Sakura and Sasuke.
                          
"So how are you feeling?" Sakura asked.
                          
"I'm okay, I guess. As good as a girl with no eyes!" I yelled. "So when are you guys going back to the land of waves. I'm sure Tazuna's crapped his pants by now... being all scared and stuff" I asked.
                          
They were all quiet and...the air was about as awkward as Kabuto's face - whoever that was.
                          
"What are you talking about, Sumire. That mission ended six months ago" Naruto blabbed. I'm guessing I wasn't supposed to hear that since I heard a punch sound.
                          
"What do you mean?"
                          
"N-Nothing! Nothing! Don't listen to him!" Sakura said sheepishly.
                          
"Don't lie to me! What happened to me? Answer me!" I was really angry now! Why weren't they telling me the truth?
                          
"Uh, guys. Give me a minute with Sumire, alright" Kakashi said to the others.
                          
The team did what K.K said and left the room. I felt weight on the bed like someone was sitting. Kakashi told me about what happened. He told me that they found me by Tazuna's house. I was unconscious. Apparently I fell into a coma and they couldn't even open my eyes to check on them. And I was out for the past six months. But there was one thing bothering me.
                          
"Oh...Then what happened to my Haku and Zabuza? They escaped, right!?" I asked with, like, a ton of hope.
                          
"I'm sorry, Sumire. They passed." he said.
                          
Naruto's POV
                          
We could hear Sumire cry from outside. I've never heard her so upset, and it was killing me. The three of us decided to go for a walk and calm down for a while.
                          
"She'll be alright...right?"
                          
"She's strong. Don't worry about it, Naruto" Sakura replied. Sasuke didn't say anything... He just sulked.

I was waiting for Sumire's mom at her house because I wanted to talk to her about Sumire. She was being discharged in two days and I just wanted to give her a great welcome home.
                          
"Naruto? Naruto!" I saw Aunt Hikari run to the door. I offered to carry some of the groceries in her hands, but she insisted on carrying them herself.
                          
We entered the house and put the groceries away.
                          
"How are you doing, Aunt Hikari?"
                          
"I'm... alright. And you?"
                          
"Awesome! So I was thinking we could have a little get together for Sumire when she comes back home...so she doesn't feel too bad about her eyes"
