So person A has been put into a mental institution by his/her family (you can choose the reason for this) and person B is the son/daughter of person A's doctor.
Person B joins his/her father/mother one day and he/she meets person A. They don't really get along, because one of them is kinda mental, but they soon become friends and person B helps person A get better.
