"More and more supplies are going missing and I don't know how to stop it." Liam leaned against the wall and closed his eyes, taking deep breaths to calm himself.

"I think you need to keep an open mind. Embrace the possibility that it could be anyone, it could even be me." I tried to keep a straight face while he raised an eyebrow at me.

"So it's you huh? This whole time the thief was standing right in front of me, telling me that Harry wasn't stealing anything." He laughed. "Shouldn't you be trying to convince me that it's Harry. You must be dumber than I thought."

"Hey!" I nudged his shoulder, faking a hurt expression. "I'm not that dumb!"

"You're right." He agreed. "You're dumber."

"Hey!"

"But seriously, how are we supposed to catch them?" Liam sighed in defeat.

"What if you keep a look out?"

"What do you think I have been doing? I have been watching everyone like a hawk. Where has that got me? Nowhere."

"No, I mean at night. That's the prime time for someone to take things. If everyone is asleep, who's going to catch them?" I asked.

"I'm starting to wonder if it's you." He stared at me. "That's a great idea though, I can't believe I didn't think of it."

I shrugged. "Well, I don't want to brag or anything....but it is a pretty fabulous idea." I ruffled my hair in a 'oh my god I'm so fabulous' way and Liam laughed.

"Yeah, yeah. Don't get ahead of yourself. Get to bed, I'll tell you if I find anything tomorrow."

"Okay. Night."

"I want you out!" I heard Liam yell in accusation.

I blinked, trying to focus my eyes. It was still dark, the floor was cold beneath my bare feet. Liam must have caught them. I wondered who it was. Maybe now I could figure out a way to sneak out while no one was looking, without the lingering thought of how to catch the thief.

I stopped in my tracks, my heart crashing against my rib cage. I blinked, willing the scene to change, hoping that this was a dream. They hadn't noticed me yet, their eyes were locked, anger burning in their gazes.

"I told you, I haven't taken anything!" Harry exclaimed, his fists clenched at his sides.

"I caught you red-handed!"

"You didn't catch me doing anything! You saw me walking. Not taking!"

"What the hell is going on here?!" I yelled, their eyes darted to me.

"He's the thief. I told you, but you were too stubborn to listen." Liam pointed at Harry accusingly.

"Is that true?" I whispered, staring straight at Harry.

"No. I haven't taken anything. You have to believe me Bree. You know I wouldn't do anything like that."

"Then why were you up? Why were you wandering around?" I asked, my voice pleading, hoping he was telling the truth.

"I heard something outside."

"What did you hear, exactly? Please, enlighten me." Liam sneered.

"Gunshots. They're getting closer Bree."

"How much closer?" I whispered.

Harry shrugged. "A few miles maybe."

"Do you think....they're the ones that made that poster. Do you think they're after me?"

"God, I hope not." Harry took a step closer to me, then hesitated.

"Maybe I should just turn myself in. It would be safer, for everyone."

"You can't do that!" Liam and Harry exclaimed.

"If that's what it takes to keep all of you safe, I'll do it."

"You're staying here. Do you remember what Louis said?" Liam asked.

"Yeah. 'If you try to leave I will tie our wrists together." I smiled.

"Exactly. You're not leaving. But he is." He motioned towards Harry, who scowled angrily.

"He's not going anywhere." I stated, placing my hands on my hips.

"Yes, he's going out there." He pointed towards the exit.

"Look, I'm tired. I want to go to sleep. We will talk about this again in the morning, then, and only then, will we come to a final decision." I grabbed Harry's arm and pulled him back to our beds. Liam stomping angrily towards his own.

Once we were both in bed, gazing at the ceiling as if it held all the answers to every question we need answered, I spoke. "You didn't steal anything, did you?" I asked hopefully.

"Of course I didn't."

"If you're lying to me-"

Before I could finish my sentence Harry cut me off. "I promise you Bree, It wasn't me."

"I believe you." My eyelids fluttered shut, darkness washing over me in calming waves.

"Everybody up! We are having a meeting!"

I sat up, images from the night before flashing by. I looked beside me to find Harry's bed empty. He must already be with Liam, I thought.

Everyone was huddled together, I searched the faces but couldn't see any sign of Harry anywhere. I spotted Louis and made my towards him.

"What's this all about?" I asked.

"I don't know." He looked at me. "I was hoping you would know."

"No, I have no idea." I didn't think this was about last night, that would be done later, in private, so no one could hear. "Have you seen Harry anywhere?"

"No....why?" Louis looked at me, concern in his eyes.

"I haven't either...."

"Boo-bear's missing?! What are we going to do?! How are we going to survive!" Louis rambled dramatically.

"Boo-bear?" I raised an eyebrow at him.

"What? I thought it would be cute if you had similar nicknames..."

"I thought you only gave nicknames to the ones you were really close with? Which, last time I checked, was only me." I batted my eyelashes in a dramatic gesture.

"We talked a couple of times. He's pretty cool. Don't worry Bree-bear, I still only love you." He gave me a hug and I smiled.

"Right. I think that's everyone." Liam clapped his hands together.

"Actually." I called out. "Harry's not here."

Liam nodded. "That's what this meeting is about." He paused for a moment, taking everyone in, pouring over every detail before finally stopping at me. "Harry's gone."

"What?!" Me and Louis screamed in unison.

"He's gone." Liam shrugged.

I began walking towards Liam. "How dare you!" I stopped in front of him, my hands clenched into tight fists. "You had no right to do that!"

"I'm the leader, I had every right." He said calmly.

I raised my hands and shoved him backwards. "He didn't do it! What part of that did you not understand? Are you really that thick?! They are manipulating you Liam! They used Harry as a way to steal without being caught. You made a huge mistake. Because while Harry is out there, suffering for something he didn't do, someone else is in here, warm and safe and stealing from you. Open your eyes Liam because soon you're going to wish someone stealing supplies is your only problem, and when that happens, I won't be here to help."
