i cannot tell you how much i loathe this. this- this DISGUSTING THING- makes me cringe to the next level of cringing. i literally have to put my phone down sometimes as just say "really? really? okay."
that thing some authors do when they're writing for one fandom, but use scenes from other fandoms??????
ex. i have read three books TODAY that have used allison's death for different characters.
ex. i have read books that use the panic-attack-stydia-kiss scene
ex. i have read books where they use the stiles line of "take wolfsbane, wrapped it around mountain ash branch and dip it in mistletoe and shove it up your freakin-" AND THEYRE NOT EVEN TEEN WOLF BOOKS LIKE????
ex. i have read books that try to reference other fandoms even though those universes shouldn't EXIST IN THE BOOK??
ex. i have read books that use romance lines from teen wolf in them and then in the authors notes they're like "omg everyone needs a little stydia in they book right??" LIKE NO EVERYONE NEEDS A LITTLE ORIGINALITY
(p.s. in my indigo series, stiles tells indigo the whole "if you die i would go out of my freakin mind" which i did because everyone asked me to. i did not deliberately use those lines because i couldn't think of my own stuff)
