Motivation

I was thinking of so many business opportunities for Laddie Edition before it even started and the first idea that popped into my head was booking a photo shoot appointment with Girl II Reality to help us boost our brand new business. Surprisingly, Zakia agreed with me on the idea and now we were headed to the agency to speak with Daphne about working together after I headed home to take a shower and take off my makeup.

It was all about strategy, networking, marketing and building collaborative relationships with other business people in the world of business, finance and management.

As Zakia decided to ride with us to the place, she dropped her car off at our house and now Katrina was pulling up into the parking lot, to find a parking spot since it was a very busy place.

"This should be really interesting!" Zakia said, putting her hair behind her ear. "I hope that this idea works out because it's a really nice one!"

"I think it will."

"Daphne sounded very happy to be working with you," Katrina inserted, finding a parking spot near the side of the building. "Which is why she cleared her schedule for you."

I hoped that this idea would work out.

"You ready?" I turned around in my seat, taking a glance at Zakia.

"Yes ma'am." She smiled, as she opened her door, stepped out of car and adjusted the purse straps.

Katrina exited the car, holding the folder that was from the place and combed her fingers through her hair.

We all ambled to the front of the building, I opened the door for everyone and followed behind as Zakia looked around the lobby in awe while we moved closer to the front desk with the same receptionist behind it.

"Hello!" Alexandria's eyes lit up, while a lopsided smile appeared on her face. "I know that you've made an appointment with Daphne already, she's cleared her schedule. I'll give her a call to let her know that you've arrived."

We nodded our head, before turning to take a seat on the sofa.

"This place looks nice." Zakia's eyes wandered around the lobby. "The colors are bright!"

"It is, wait until you see her office.."

"Excuse me, one minute.." Katrina stood up from the sofa, holding her cellphone to her ear and stepped a little further away from us.

I wonder what that was about.

In less than three minutes, Daphne lurched into the lobby, her mahogany skin glowing. Even though she was short in height, she had a thick figure and today in her black pencil body-con, short sleeve dress, it hugged her curves and her heels were bad as she wore her black hair in pretty half updo, half down style and her makeup didn't increase her beauty, it added on to it.

"Hi ladies!" She greeted us with a cheerful tone. "I'm happy that you've decided to work with us."

Katrina finished her call, as she gave me a thumbs up and we all proceeded into following Daphne to her office, after taking the elevator. She stepped behind her desk, as we entered her office while we sat in the chairs presented in front of the desk.
