{Lexi's POV}
                          
"So what do you say? Fancy doing your first live performance of Starving tonight at The 25th Anniversary of Island Record's party?" Andrew asks.
                          
"Are you being serious?! I'd love that! Thankyou so much Andrew."
                          
"There's going to be performances throughout the night but I've arranged for Shawn to introduce your song, considering of his large fanbase and you're close friendship."
                          
As you've guessed, still only about 5 people know about Shawn and I.
                          
"That sounds awesome!"
"So make such to be at the venue tonight for 7pm. And your set is after Shawn's at 9pm."
"I won't miss it, see you all then".
                          
I put the phone done and I have a moment where I'm just screaming internally. Performing is all I've ever dreamed of, and to somewhat share that moment with Shawn, will make it even better.
                          
I quickly call Shawn, I need to speak to him.
                          
"So you heard?", he happily answers.
"How long have you known?!" I ask.
"Only a few days, I wanted to keep it a surprise, what d'ya think?"
"I can't wait, but wait, will I need a band or something? I'm not prepared shit shit shit". I panic.
"I was gonna keep this as a surprise but I don't want you worrying yourself..."
"What is it?", I quickly reply.
                          
"Well I spoke to Andrew and I suggested that I can play the guitar, alongside you. So it would be like an acoustic version."
                          
"Shawn that sounds amazing! This is gonna be the best night. Wait, have you learned the song?"
                          
"Already learnt and perfected Lexi". I can sense Shawn smiling cockily down the other end of the phone.
                          
"What song are you going to perform?" I ask.
"I'm gonna play Mercy."
"Oooo one of my favourites". I reply.
                          
"So I'll pick you up at 6:30?" Shawn asks.
                          
"We're going..... together?" I was shocked.
                          
"Just because we're staying out of the spotlight, doesn't mean we can't arrive at the venue together".
"You're my favourite Shawn". I say.
"I know I am, I'll see you later baby".
"See you then Shawn".
                          
I hang up the phone. That's the first time he's called me baby. I'm a fan.
                          
I had about 4 hours until I have to be ready for him to pick me up, so that gives me 3 hours to watch a few Vampire Diaries episodes, before I need to get showered and dressed.

Those 3 episodes went quickly, and before I knew it, I've made it through a pack of pringles and lots of soda.
                          
I check the time on my phone, an hour and a half until Shawn's gonna pick me up. Better get moving.
                          
I make my way upstairs and I have a shower. I wash my hair and I shave my legs. Fancy.
                          
I quickly dried off and put on my silk khaki playsuit, that I bought the other day with Olivia.
                          
My makeup took me only 20 minutes, which is impressive for me. I opted for a brown smokey eye.
                          
I then was faced with the struggle of decided what the fuck I was going to do with my hair. I was sitting there for a good while, attempting braids. However, I gave up and I loosely curled my hair. I think it looks decent.
                          
I checked my phone again and it said 6:20. Shawn's gonna be here soon. I frantically look for my matching clutch bag. 
                          
I found it under my bed, at the speed of lightning, I shoved a powder, lipstick and money into it.
