"That's it, I'm done trying." Judy spoke with conviction. "Another three months and no response?"
                          
Judy gave up on trying to befriend Nick. It came to the point where she just decided to suck it up and go on with her life as a cop.
                          
Returning to the ZPD, Benjamin was so cheerful to see her. "Judy!"
                          
"Hey, Ben-" Benjamin scooped up Judy, swinging her around. "I've missed you so much! This jobs been dead ever since you've been gone!"
                          
Judy blushed, looking away. "Aww, I'm pretty sure that the ZPD was doing just fine."
                          
"Perhaps, but still, it's not the same to me when you're gone."
                          
"Aww thank you!" Judy giggled.
                          
Being put on the ground, a voice called out to Judy. "Ms. Hopps!"
                          
Judy quickly looked to her right to see Chief Bogo waving at her.
                          
"I'll catch you later!" Judy waved goodbye to Benjamin.
                          
Arriving at the classroom, Judy went inside to see a shocking scenario.
                          
"Surprise! Welcome back Judy!" The whole crowd of officers shouted. Judy jolted back.
                          
"Gosh!" She exhaled, holding her bosom. "You scared me!"
                          
"Where have you been?!" One officer cried.
                          
"Yeah! We've missed you so much we thought we'd have to send a search party for you!"
                          
Judy giggled and blushed even more, rubbing the back of her head. "Sorry guys...I've been going through some bad times."
                          
"Damn! That must have been really deep since you've been gone for a whole year and a half!"
                          
"Yeah...I know." Judy lowered her head in shame.
                          
"But enough with the past." Chief Bogo walked to Judy with a box in his hand. "Now that Judy has officially returned, I think we all should say she deserves this." Judy's eyes widened as the chief stopped down to her level, holding the box in hand. "Open it."
                          
Opening the box, Judy looked inside to see a pistol.
                          
Judy gasped. "Are you serious?!"
                          
"Go on."
                          
Judy hesitantly reached for the gun. She held it in her hand with a firm grasp.
                          
"Welcome back to the team, champ." Chief Bogo slapped her in her back, causing her to fly a step forward.
                          
"Heheh thanks." Judy smiled.
                          
After the reunion, the chief invited Judy into his office.
                          
Judy sat down in front of his desk. "Is there something you need, sir?"
                          
"Actually, yes." Bogo cleared his throat. "I'd like you to take on this case."
                          
"Whaaaaaaat?" Judy gaped at the chief.
                          
"This is a pursuit, a hot one at that." The chief winked. "We need you to catch this criminal. Maybe that will boost your mood."
                          
"Really?! That actually sounds interesting!"
                          
"Good! The criminal is a puma named Allen Black. Catch him as soon as possible."
                          
"Yes sir!"
                          
"His location is in Tundra Town. He's located deep in the jungle. He's been robbing many civilians there and it's getting out of hand."
                          
"Okay! I'll take care of the job!" Judy pumped her bosom.
                          
"And I'd also would like you Nick, and Alec to go."
