"Hey," Donghyuck smiled as he held the door open for Jiho. She smiled and walked inside. Her senses immediately awakening at the density of everything.

The food smelled great and the house was beautiful, as per usual. She followed Donghyuck into the kitchen where she was introduced to his mother and grandmother.

"Go introduce her to your brothers." His mother smiled with kind eyes.

"Hajoon, Changmin! Come here!" He screamed as two boys came running into the dining room.

"This is my friend, Jiho." He introduced them as the two boys looked at Donghyuck confused.

"Your girlfriend." Hajoon interjected.

"No, nooooo." Jiho shook her head.

"Wow Donghyuck, even she doesn't like you." The two boys laughed as they ran away.

"Being an only child must be fun." He rolled his eyes before sitting down on one of the dining room chairs.

"I'm gonna go ask if they need help, okay?" Jiho smiled before walking away.

A few moments later she came back with plates and silverware. The matriarchs had asked that she set the table and she happily agreed. Donghyuck helped her, he grabbed a plate and began setting up.

"Where's your dad?" Jiho asked as Donghyuck looked into her eyes.

"He's nervous." He joked as he looked up the stairs, "He likes being by himself, he'll come down sooner or later."

And as if on que, a skinny and brittle man came down the stairs. His age was undefinable. His hair was jet black with no white hairs but his face was small and sunken in. He looked near death, other than the huge smile on his face.

"And you, you must be Jiho." He smiled and gave a hefty chuckle.

"Yes, sir." She smiled as she walked over to him.

"I would hug you but I wouldn't want to contaminate you with my ugliness." He joked again.

"What are you taking about, you look fresher than a newly bloomed flower." Jiho smiled as he embraced her in a warm and comfortable hug.

"Sit down, let's chat."

"More baby stories!" Donghyuck clapped his hands sarcastically as he looked at Jiho from across the table.

"He cried so much as a baby. He would never shut up."

"He still won't." Jiho said under her breath which made his grandma laugh.

"But he was a sweet baby. He always felt sympathy for those around him. I remember once, he came home crying. He said 'mom all the other boys they have skinny legs, and I'm fat.' Well he wasn't wrong." His mother laughed, "He was chubby and I told him 'Dongsookie, they just don't eat enough.' He felt so bad because he thought they didn't eat at all. He would give his friends his lunch everyday for several months until I realized how skinny he had gotten."
