josh's handwriting slightly sloppy, but the message in front of him made him emotional.

my eyes slowly look up towards josh's wide eyes, he's been watching my every move.
                          
my heart begins to pound, my eyes begin to race around, looking for an escape.

i stumble my way out of the swing and despite not being drunk, drunkly run.
                          
"t-tyler wait up!" josh shouts after me, but i of course, don't respond.
                          
being the klutz i am, i trip over a small pebble.

unconsciously tears flood from my eyes.
                          
stop it you over dramatic freak, i yell at myself, but no one can hear.
                          
"tyler oh my god, i'm sorry i made you uncomfortable." josh helps me up and sees me crying.
                          
without saying a word he embraces me, the unstable thing that i am.
                          
i pull myself together, in record time if i do say so myself, and grab my phone from my back pocket.

he grabs his phone as soon as he sees me on mine.
                          
josh: you didn't overreact, you just have a emotions, and i'd rather have a friend with emotions than a friend who's stone cold.
                          
tyler: what if i told you i am stone cold?
                          
josh: from what i've seen, you are anything but that.
                          
he grabs my arms and pulls my arms down gently, "if you don't mind me asking, for the second time i believe, why is it you don't talk?" josh's mocha eyes staring deep into my soul.
                          
i just stare, felt like millenniums, but again, i'm over exaggerating.
                          
he squints, as though it would allow him to read my thoughts.
