Crushes and Projects (Peter Parker) Part 2

                                    

                                          
"She's just so cute." (Wish someone who say this about me :/) Y/n heard Peter say to Ned as they stood in the hallway looking at Liz. It was Friday. Which meant she would be seeing Peter at the library tomorrow.
                          
She was so nervous and had so many butterflies in her stomach just thinking about it. Peter looked over and saw her, he waved and she looked at him with confusion and waved back shyly. 
                          
-Next day- 
Y/n had been waiting at the library for Peter to come. She was waiting for a little while, he seemed to be running a little late. She sighed as she started to work on the project a bit by herself. She then heard the front door open and   saw Peter standing there with his backpack. 
                          
He looked flustered as he closed the door and quietly walked to the table you were at. "Sorry I'm late." He sighed, he put his bag on the back of his chair and sat next to her.
                          
"I-its ok" She said while she was writing. They both worked on the project together and she was actually able to talk to him without embarrassing yourself.
                          
They both finished the project earlier then they  would've imagined. "Do you wanna get some fro-yo?" He asked as he put his books and papers in his bag. "Sure." She said and smiled.
                          
They both sat on a bench as they ate their  fro-yo and he talked to her about Liz. She just kept nodding as he had a sparkle in his eyes as he talked about her beauty. Her heart was breaking as he said every word. But she kept a smile on your face. "Do you like anyone?" He asked and put the spoon in his mouth.
                          
She blushed and looked down at your fro-yo. It's you, you idiot is what she wanted to say. "U-uh no" she sighed and put the spoon into her mouth. 
                          
He nodded and then he walked her home. "It was nice seeing you." He said smiling as she opened her front door. She smiled back at him and went inside.

                          
At school, things seemed different. Peter was actually talking to her more and she could finally talk to him without blushing or smiling uncontrollably. It seemed that they both had become friends. But, Y/n wanted more than that. 
                          
She still felt sad and insecure when he would talk about Liz and how beautiful she was. He said she looked like an angel that came down to earth. She only wished he would say something like that about her.
                          
Ned could see the way she acted around Peter when he would mention Liz. He knew she had a crush on Peter. He even consulted her about it and she kept telling him she didn't but he didn't believe her.
                          
Y/n was at her  locker getting her books for her next to class. She then saw Peter running towards her. "Y/n! Guess what?! I asked Liz out and she said yes!" He exclaimed and hugged Y/n. 
                          
She sighed as she accepted his hug but her heart broke at his words. She felt so warm in his arms but then he pulled away smiling. She smiled back at him, "That's great."
                          
Tonight was Peter's date and Y/n was having a movie night. She was watching "Big Hero 6" and she was laughing at Baymax as he came to Hiro's house with less air aka like he was drunk (hairy baby!).
                          
She  then heard a knock at her door, she paused the movie. She walked to the door and looked through the peephole. It was Peter. She opened the door and he walked in straight away not saying a word. She closed the door and joined him on the couch.
                          
"Peter? Are you ok?" He looked up at her, there were tear stains on his cheeks. She scooted closer to him and hugged him. He wrapped his arms around her waist and she wrapped her arms around his neck. 
                          
She felt his shoulders shake as he cried softly into her shoulder. She pulled away and put his face into her hands. She wiped his tears away and put her hands in her lap. 
                          
"Liz... told me that Flash told her to say yes to the date. She thought I was pathetic for thinking she would like me." He stated sighing and a tear went down his cheek. 
                          
Y/n felt her heart ache as she saw him look so sad. "Her loss." She stated and his head perked up and looked at you. "She doesn't deserve you anyway. You are so amazing Peter, if she can't see that then she's blind." She smiled at him. He chuckled a little and looked at the TV. 
                          
"I love Big Hero 6." He exclaimed and she  smiled at him and hit play. She sat next to him as they both watched intently. 
                          
She then cuddled up to him so he would feel better. He felt surprised as she did. He smiled to himself and pulled her closer and wrapped his arms around her waist. 
                          
"Peter..." Y/n started but couldn't continue. "What is it?" He asked looking down at her. She sat up and paused the movie again. "Promise me, that what I'm about to say won't affect our friendship." She said putting her pinky out. He smiled, "Of course" and wrapped his pinky around yours.
                          
She  sighed, "Peter, I have liked you for a while now." His eyes went wide as she  continued. "Everytime you would tell me something about Liz my heart would break. I thought you didn't even know who I was and that you would never like me. But right now I don't care if you like me or not. All I know is that I like you and that I hope it won't affect anything." She sighed looking down and not looking him in the eyes. 
                          
He sat there for a couple seconds. She sighed and grabbed the remote to press play. Until she felt a hand on her wrist and she looked up. His face was a centimeter away from hers. Her eyes went to his soft pink lips as they parted. 
                          
He closed the distance between their lips and smashed his on to her. It wasn't what she imagined, it was way more amazing. His soft lips moved against hers perfectly. He held her cheek to pull her even more closer if that was possible. 
                          
She both pulled away to breath and she felt the blood rushing to her cheeks. He smirked at her  and pecked her lips. He pressed play and laid down. She still sat there and touched her lips that were still on fire. "Are you just gonna sit there? Or are you going to cuddle me?" He pouted.
                          
She smiled and laid next to him. She sighed contently in his warm arms as they wrapped around her. "I guess I should've told you sooner." She smiled and he kissed her cheek and then the back of her neck.
