Chapter 21: Brazil Part 2

                                    

                                          
David's POV:
                          
I said bye to Liza, and headed off, trying to find a bar or something. I found one in a couple minutes after some google searching and walking. I don't know what I would do without my phone. Or my Tesla. Or Liza. The guard checked my ID, and I crossed my fingers as he checked it. I was let in, and I ordered a beer. 
                          
Two hours passed quickly, and I felt tired. I already drank half of the beer, and I decided to save the rest for later. I left, and called an uber. I arrived home at about 12:30am, and I found Liza asleep on her bed. God, she looked so beautiful. I tucked her in, and gave her a kiss. I closed her door and retreated to my room. I fell asleep, too lazy and tired to do anything else.
                          
I woke up to shaking. "Huh? Is there an earthquake?" I mumbled, half asleep. "No, dummy." I heard someone reply. I rolled over, not wanting to wake up. The person tore the blanket off of me.
                          
"What the heck?" I exclaimed, awake. I saw Liza sitting on my bed. I pushed her off.
                          
"Hey! Come on!" She crawled off of the floor. "It's 10. I'm hungry."
                          
"Why don't you just cook something?"
                          
"I can't cook. Have you seen my videos? I wasn't joking." She laughed.
                          
"Fine. Let's go to IHOP or something."
                          
"Then get up and clean yourself! I'll be waiting." Liza walked out of my room, in a really cute outfit, like always.
                          
I sat up, and ran my hand through my hair. I am not a morning person. I grabbed some clothes, which I didn't bother looking at. I already knew what it was. A black t-shirt with black jeans. I got out of my room, and cleaned myself up. "I'm ready, babe." I said, walking out of the bathroom. 
                          
"Ok, do you want to take the cameras or no?" She asked.
                          
"Sure. Just a portable one though, let's not have it take up too much space."
                          
"Ok." She put the camera in her bag. "Let's go!"

                          
We arrived at IHOP in around 10 minutes, with the help of an uber. Breakfast passed quickly, and Liza and I were stumped on what to do next.
                          
"It's such a beautiful day." I murmured. "Filled with beautiful people like you." I poked her nose.
                          
She giggled, and looked around for possible places to spend our day in. We walked to the harbor, and Liza's face suddenly lit up. "Let's go on a boat!" She said, pointing to a boat excitedly. "Fine." We bought two tickets, and our friend, Ben, drove the boat.
                          
"Are you excited?" I asked Liza, as I helped her onto the boat. "Watch your step."
                          
"Of course I'm excited! And I'm not two, David. I know how to get on a boat. But thanks!"
                          
I sat down, and Liza took the seat next to me. "It's Mount Rushmore!" I pointed.
                          
"David, the joke is getting old." She laughed. "It's obviously Mount Everest."
                          
"Na, I think it's The Himalayas."
                          
"Mount Everest is in the Himalayas!" She giggled. "Oh David, you need to go back to school."
                          
"Don't even mention that place again. I'm done with it."
                          
"Fine. Ooh, look! Dolphins!" She grabbed my hand, and pointed at it.
                          
I looked around, and spotted dolphins. "Wow, there's actually dolphins here." I whipped my phone out, and tried to take a photo, but they were too fast. "Dang it."
                          
"I guess it's one of the wonders we'll only see in Brazil. Let's take a selfie!" Liza took out her phone, and I put on one of my signature smiles. "We're so cheesy. We look like the typical couple." Liza said after she put away her phone.
                          
"And that's bad?" I asked.
                          
"No, it's great!" Out of nowhere, she tackled me and I fell on the hard surface of the floor on the boat. "Oww...what was that for?!" I winced, clutching my head.
                          
"Payback for this morning." She smirked. "Now we're even."
                          
"Fine. I guess I deserved it." I gave in. Before I knew it, the boat stopped at the pier again. "Anndd, we're back." Ben announced. Liza got off the boat, and took out her camera. 
                          
"I totally forgot to film an intro! I'll film it now." She said, pointing her camera at the boat. "We're going on a boat!" She shouted. "Sorry, I didn't get the intro before so I have to do it now. We already went on a boat. But here's a boat montage." She turned off the camera. "I got it." I took her hand and went home. "So, what are we gonna have for lunch?" I asked.
                          
"Since you dragged us home, then I guess I'll have to make it."
                          
"Ok. I'll eat anything. Whatever you make."
                          
"I have a question. Who do you miss the most that didn't come to Brazil."
                          
"Do I have to answer it? It's too obvious."
                          
"What is it?"
                          
"My Tesla."
                          
"Oh, David." She laughed as she set down my plate. "You're so silly."
