Josh finished helping his mom making dinner and now sat down at the dinner table with his siblings and parents.
"so how was your day?" his father asked and josh eyed his mom nervously.
"Josh has some news" his mother said and Josh shrunk in his seat visibly.
"well what is it son?" his father asked and josh stuttered out "i- i have dyslexia" he muttered making his father raise a brow confused.
"is that a dieses?" He asked confused and Josh felt a lump in his throat.
"No, it means he can't read or write" his mother injected.
"What? yes I can! it's just...the words are mixed and..." he trailed off.
"Non sense" His father said. "You better get your act together or we're taking away your drum kit" his father said raising a finger.
"y-you can't do that" he said in fear they'd take away his only escape.
"if you don't bring those grades up, i will" his father said sternly
and josh nodded giving up in arguing.
