Caleb's POV

I stared down at her. One tear drop slipped out of her eye and I lost it. Jumping up, I sprinted back into the cafeteria. I could hear the faint sounds of my name being called but it wasn't clear. My vision was red. My blood was rushing to my ears. My fists were shaking.

I sprinted towards Selena's table and grabbed the guy by his collar. He gasped out of surprise and stared at me with wide, alarmed eyes.

"I don't know who the fuck you are but how dare you come here? What, you wanna fuck with my girl?!" I threw a punch to his face, instantly giving him a black eye. "Fuck with me first."

That's when all chaos had erupted. I gripped the back of his head and repeatedly smashed his face onto the table. People were trying to pull me back but I wasn't letting go.

That tear drop that slipped out of her eye.

I continued to smash his face against the table until I heard a voice speak from behind me.

"Caleb, please stop!" Alex's warm hand was on my arm, trying to pry me away. I finally let go of him and dropped onto the floor. She had her arms around me, trying to calm me down.

"Calm down baby." She whispered, gripping my face in her hand. I instantly relaxed and stared into her hazel eyes. The tears were gone, now replaced with worry and fear. But her eyes were still slightly red and puffy.

I felt something on my hands and glanced down to see blood gushing out from my knuckles.

"Fuck." Alex cursed, gripping my hand with hers. I was about to tell her it was okay but a booming voice from behind me stopped me from speaking.

Everyone stopped what they were doing and stared wide eyed at the principal. Even my own eyes grew wide. The principal never came out. Hell, even in important announcements he was never present. Only when something was serious would he grace us with his presence. Like, dead serious.

"Caleb Ryder and Liam Williams. Where are you?!" The principal yelled. His Steele grey eyes were demanding an answer.

I slowly rose and so did that other prick who was on the floor. I couldn't help but crack a smirk when I witnessed his face. The table did a pretty good job.

"Follow me this instance!" The man marched off and we slowly followed behind him. Liam glared at me and I smirked in reply. We passed the main office and entered the principles office. He sat on his chair and pointed at the two chairs opposite him. I rolled my eyes and took a seat, Liam following suit.

"What is this? Not even one day you have attended this school and already started fights?" He glared at Liam.

"He fucking started it!" Liam glared, pointing an accusing finger at me.

"Don't swear!" The principal yelled, causing Liam to flinch. I fought back a smirk. Pussy.

"Caleb. Why have you been starting fights again? I thought that had stopped. Look at his face!" He yelled, pointing at Liam's hideous face. As much as I wanted to laugh, I kept my face straight knowing I would just get in more trouble.

"I didn't like him." I answered, shrugging my shoulders.

"Yeah, I don't like you, doesn't mean I'm going to go beating you up now, am I?!" He spat, slapping his hand on the desk for extra emphasis.

I stared at him blankly. If he didn't like me, who did he like then?

"You two are going to exit this office and sort out whatever grudge you hold against eachother." He ran a hand through his non-existent hair. "You are now dismissed."
