-Annabelle's POV-

After thanksgiving was all said and done I do some Black Friday shopping online because lets be honest, I wasn't going to go to sleep any time soon. I was getting gifts... and for the first time I actually had a few people to get gifts for. I wanted to get Amanda a MK watch and Lindsey the earrings we always stop to look at when we're on Michigan Ave. I was going to get Patrick some new shoes to wear on the road and work out cloths and Johnny was getting some stuff for his garden plus his own couch in my office since he was in there so much. My brother was getting signed Cubs stuff that Anthony was getting for me and my parents are probably just going to get some cute family thing. My real problem was to find what to get Artemi. I wanted to give him the world but I didn't have that much money.

"Hey babe, why are you up" Artemi asks going to the fridge to grab a water.

"Black Friday shopping, getting presents. What do you want for Christmas" I ask looking through ads.

"I have you, my grandparents are watching me play in the NHL today, I'm healthy and more than blessed, I don't think I need anything" he concludes.

"That's sweet but it's Christmas, it's what you want not what you need" I remind him.

"Okay then, what about socks" he suggests.

"Are you even trying" I laugh as he rests his head on my shoulder.

"It's like 4 am, I'm not even sure I'm awake" he laughs and I roll my eyes.

"Got to bed, you have a day game today" I remind him.

"Come with to bed with me" he whines before sticking out his bottom lip. I hated when he did that.

I let out a big sigh and close my laptop and he grows a big smile. Before I could hop off the stool I was preoccupying he picks me up and and sets me on the bed before crawling in himself. He quickly falls asleep and I pass out in his arms.

I sit in the visitors locker room and sip my third cup of coffee, I really need to stop staying up so late.

"Hey Anna" someone says and I raise my eyebrow. There stood a tall man with a Canadian accent but wore a dark hat and jacket that covered his face.

"Jonny" I ask and he laughs taking his hat off.

"How'd you know it was me" he asks.

"Never underestimate me Toews" I joke and he lets out a laugh.

"You would think I had learned that by now" he comments fixing his hair.

He was hurt in the last game against Edmonton and wasn't going to play today, so naturally he was dying inside. Sitting out is hard for any athlete but especially one as hard working and passionate as him. "Can I sit with you and Breadmans grandparents for the game today" he asks me.

"Of course, that would be really cool" I say and he smiles. I felt bad really, and it was my job to help him after all, so I was going to do anything to make sure he gets through this fast and painless.

I sit down in between Jonny and Nina trying to watch the boys warm up while passing out snacks. "Who's your friend" Nina asks and I nudge Jonny.

"Oh, where are my manners. I'm Jonathan Toews but you can call me anything but Captain Serious. It's a pleasure meeting you guys. Super happy Breadmans on our team, he's been great" he says shaking each of their hands talking a mile a minute.

After the initial shock sets in they realize what's happening and play along. The first period begins and Jonny stirs in the chair beside me. "This is hell" he mumbles.
