Today was the day. The day that my life would change more than it already has. Today is my wedding day. Everything has been going smoothly, so far. William and I decided not to have a big wedding. We wanted it to be special and we only wanted to share it with our family and closest friends. So we decided to have the wedding in the backyard. I thought it was a good idea because the house is more than gorgeous.

The ceremony is already set up, along with the chairs for everyone to sit in. It is decorated with flowers, and there is even a chandelier in the center. I couldn't wait to walk down the aisle. However, as excited that I am, I am a tad bit nervous as well.

I am in my room with Jessica and my mom. They were helping me get ready. Jessica did my hair into a beautiful hairstyle. She even placed a couple of tiny flowers into my hair. Once my hair was done, we moved on to makeup, and then the dress. I was so excited to put my wedding dress on.

My wedding dress was a tight fit up at the top, while it was lost at the bottom

My wedding dress was a tight fit up at the top, while it was lost at the bottom. It was a strapless dress, that had a strand of ribbon and a pattern made of lasing. I put the dress on and looked at myself in the mirror. I felt like the prettiest girl in the world. And I know that that isn't accurate, but at that moment it was true. Jessica handed me my bouquet before she left with my mom.

I was waiting in my room for my dad

I was waiting in my room for my dad. I heard a knock on the door and saw my dad dressed in a suit. I smiled at him, while a couple of tears fell down his cheeks. I walked over to him and whipped the tears from his face.

"Are you okay, daddy?" I asked.

"Yes, I'm just so proud of you Jannet." my father replied.

I grabbed his arm and we both walked out of my room. We were heading downstairs and were only seconds away from going outside. I saw all the chairs filled with our guests. And at the very end of the aisle was William. He was so handsome that I couldn't help but smile. The music started playing, so my father opened the door and we started walking down the aisle.

Once we reached the end of the aisle, William stepped forward. My father walked over to him and gave William a hug, while he whispered, "Take care of my baby, William."

My father took my hand and handed it off to William. The ceremony had finally begun. While the ceremony was going on, I turned my head and looked down at the twins. They were with William's mother. I smiled at them and then turned my attention back to the ceremony. We said our vows and 'I do's.' In the end, William and I sealed the deal with a kiss on the lips.

Everyone got up from their seats and clapped. William and I walked down the aisle. Everyone followed us and started to file out.

It was dark out, but we had brought out the lights for the reception. Everyone had a meal before we moved onto the dance floor. I danced with William for a while, until it was time for the father-daughter dance. I didn't exactly enjoy it because the entire time my father was crying, which eventually led me to cry.

But everything else was perfect. And I couldn't be happier. I had William, my husband, and we both had the twins. Everything was absolutely perfect and I know it always will be.
