"Amor?" I heard my boyfriend ask as he walked into our house. "I'm in the living room." I replied and smiled as I saw him walking towards me. "How was your day?" He questioned and sat down beside me before quickly pressing his lips to mine. "Alright, I guess and how was yours?" I replied as he took my hand. "It was good." He said and shrugged his shoulders slightly. "I'm just a bit worried." He added and sighed. "Why?" I asked, but Luka quickly shook his head. "That's not important right now, amor." He answered and smiled at me. "I've got a surprise for you." He stated and stood up before softly pulling me up.
"A surprise?" I exclaimed, making my boyfriend chuckle before nodding. "C'mon." He said and guided me upstairs onto our balcony, where there were candles everywhere and a dinner set out. "When did you do that?" I questioned as Luka wrapped his arms around me from behind. "I got home from training earlier, ordered the food and set up everything, while you were too busy watching your TV series." He replied and chuckled again. "Really? That's unbelievable." I stated and quickly turned around to look into his eyes. "You're amazing." I mumbled before kissing his cheek. Luka smiled at me brightly and led me to my seat before sitting down opposite to me."Thank you for this, Luka." I said after we finished our dinner. "I love you, amor." He just replied, making my smile grow even wider. "I love you, too, Modrić." I said and took his hand from across the table, making him smile, but I could definitely see that something was bothering him. "What's wrong?" I questioned, which made his eyes widen slightly. "Nothing." He answered and placed his other hand on top of mine, but I quickly pulled it away and crossed my arms in front of my chest. "Please tell me." I said and looked directly into his eyes. "I'm worried about tomorrow." He finally replied and sighed deeply. "Oh." I said as I remembered that tomorrow was the El Clásico and that he was probably stressing out because they really needed to win it, but the worst thing was that I was a big fan of Barcelona ever since I was a child and that I definitely wasn't going to support him and his team.
It was silent for a while because neither of us knew what to say. "You'll be at the stadium, won't you?" Luka asked and looked at me again. "Yes, but..." I started, but was cut of by him. "You'll wear you Barça jersey, right?" He said and I could see the sadness in his eyes. "That doesn't mean that I don't love you." I quickly replied, but he shook his head. "But you won't support me." He stated coldly, making me frown. "I'm sorry, but you know that I love Barça." I stated and wanted to take his hand, but he pulled it away. "More than you love me, obviously." He replied and quickly stood up. "You know that's not true." I said and sighed before standing up, too. "Luka..." I started, but he cut me of again. "Just let it be." He mumbled and walked into our house again. The next morning I woke up to see that nobody was laying beside me and sighed as I remembered yesterday's events. Looking at my phone, I realized that it was already pretty late. I slowly walked down the stairs to see Luka sleeping peacefully on the couch and I couldn't help, but smile at his cuteness. I walked towards him and gently shook his shoulder. "Luka..." I mumbled and after some time he finally opened his eyes. "Amor." He whispered and I quickly pressed my lips to his cheek, hoping he had forgotten about our argument, but he sadly didn't because he wasn't replying to any of my questions and after eating breakfast in silence he left the house without saying good bye.
In the evening I got ready for the game by putting on my Barça jersey of Lionel Messi before getting into my car and driving off to the stadium. As I arrived I quickly got in and sat down in the area that was reserved for the player's families, although it felt absolutely odd because I was going to support the other team. As they players came out to warm up I saw that Luka was looking at me and waved at him, but he just quickly looked away. I was getting more nervous with each second that passed by until it was finally time for the kick-off. Sadly nothing happened in the first half of the game, but only two minutes into the second half, Messi scored a beautiful free kick goal, making all of the away fans cheer like crazy. The other WaGs looked at me like I was insane, but I quickly shrugged it of because ten minutes later, Neymar scored another goal. I saw the disappointment on my boyfriend's face as Suarez scored a third goal, but I still celebrated it.
After the game ended with a solid 3-0 win for Barça I decided that I would have to talk to Luka, so I went to the changing rooms, even though everybody was starring at me oddly. I waited in front of the door, until someone came out and luckily, it was Luka. "Hey." I said and smiled at him sadly as he stood in front of me. "You played well." I commented and smiled as I heard him chuckle slightly. "C'mon, I played absolutely bad today, but I know that you're happy about that." He replied and wrapped his arms around me before softly kissing me. "Maybe a little bit, Modrić." I admitted after we broke apart and smirked at him. "I love you." He whispered and placed one of his hand's on my cheek. "Although I'm a Barça fan?" I asked and looked into his eyes. "No matter what you are a fan of, I will always love you."This one's for @LucyReus
