"How am I suppose to tell him that I have a kid?" I ask my best friend Carrie.
"Look baby, just be honest with the guy. If he's truly meant to stay he'll stay. Mason has his dad either way, he doesn't need anyone else." She says.
"I know Mason has his dad." I say.
"I'm not just saying cause Alex is my brother but because Mason is a strong kid and he dose have my brother there." She says.
"Tez isn't going to replace Alex" I say.
"Well just tell the guy. Don't keep it from him." She says.
"I guess I should call him to tell him." I say.
"Say it in person." She says.
"Alright, talk to you later. Take care." I say.
"Take care. Love you." She hangs up.

I'm sitting in a caffe waiting on Tez, I'm shitting bricks just think about how Tez may react.
"Hey." I look to see Tez.
"Hey." I give him a little smile. He takes a seat.
"Have you ordered already?" He asks.
"I was waiting on you." I say.
"That's thoughtful of you." He smiles.
We ordered and now we're waiting for the food, in quiet might I add. It isn't an awkward silence, I guess you can say it was a comforting quiet.
"Is there something going on?" Tez asks.
"Huh?" I ask off guard.
"You seem oddly quiet today, what's going on in that pretty head of yours?" He asks.
"I need to tell you something." I say.
"What's up?" He asks.
"I have a kid." I say.
"You have a kid?" He asks.
"Yes, I have a kid." I confirm.
"Boy a girl?" He asks.
"Boy." I say.
"How old is her?" He asks.
"He's four." I say. "Tez if you're worried you have to play the dad card don't worry you won't. Mason has his das in his life." I say.
"I just wanted to know." He says. "And I'll be in his life if I'm in yours." He says.
"Pretty much yeah." I say. "I don't expect you to be this father figure to him." I say.
"How would I act around him?" He asks.
"Like a friend, just a younger one." I say. "Well a lot younger." I add on causing him to smile.
"How's he like?" He asks.
"He's charming, I mean I would say that since he is my kid. But he's a good kid mischievous from time to time but a good kid. He likes playing ball and gaming." I say.
"Ohh we'll get along so well. He likes ball." He says rubbing his hands. I smile, he's not running away. He's staying put at least for now.
"Tez?" I call out.
"Yeh?" He asks. The waiter sits down our food.
"Thank you." I smile at the waiter.
"Ooh this looks delicious." Tez says.

"So what did you wanted to tell me before we were interrupted by our delicious meal?" He asks as we're walking down the concrete trail in the park.
"I wanted to say thank you for not running off after I told you I have a kid with another man." I say.
"Hey I like you, I like you a lot. If it means that I'll have two people to think of not just one I'll do it." He says.
"Awe." I say.
"Plus there's a bonus." He says.
"What's that?" I ask.
"I'll be dating a milf." He says.
"I don't know if to be offended of your vulgar slang or to be feel complimented. I'm choose to feel complimented." I say.
"It's meant to be a compliment." He says pulling me into a kiss.
