Ashley's pov.
                          
My eyes fluttered open them I sat straight up looking around. Scott was sitting in the corner in a chair. I was in his room. 
                          
"Drake" I tried to say.
                          
"He's in your room" He said.
                          
I was up on my feet and to the door within seconds and Scott followed. I walked into my room and Drake was leaning against my bed post. I walked toward him slowly. Drake looked to Scott then Scott stopped me from moving forward. 
                          
"Ashley.....I am so sorry" He said with tears filling his eyes. "Baby I need you to do something for me. I need you to be strong and do what your parents ask of you and don't ever think your not perfect. Vampire or not ok? He said.
                          
"Why does this sound like a goodbye?" I asked crying. 
                          
"Because it is baby" He said crying. "You want that normal life? Here it is" He said handing me a tiny bottle. "Me and you can never be together.....I want you to forget about me and live the life you have always wanted" He said crying. 
                          
"No you can't do this to me" I said crying.
                          
"I'm doing this for you baby" He said. He kissed me on the forehead and looked to Scott. "Take care of her" He said and Scott nodded. 
                          
He stated to walk towards the door and I ran after him crying for him to come back but he didn't. Scott had ahold of me not letting me go to Drake. The last thing I saw of Drake was his glowing yellow wolf eyes and he was gone. I looked up at Scott crying and picks me up laying me on the bed. I looked at the little bottle Drake had gave me.
                          
"The cure, how did he get it?" I asked Scott. 
                          
"He told me that it was in exchange for the bite. His dad gave him the cure in exchange for him becoming a wolf" He told me.
                          
"We need to talk" He told me. "From what I hear you want that cure more than anything and now you have it" He said. "But....you take that cure I will never be able to be around you. I can barely be around you now but if you take that cure. I don't think you will ever be safe around me" He said.
                          
"So your leaving me to?" I asked him crying.
                          
"No I'm not asking you to leave but I am just giving you a warning because of you want to stay here you need to no it's not safe to be around me" He said.
                          
"All I want right now is to be around you. I am alone in all of this and I need you" I said to him. 
                          
He sat down next to me on the bed and looked at me sadly. 
                          
"So beautiful" He said rubbing my cheek.
                          
"You can't leave me please don't" I said. 
                          
"I'm not going anywhere" He said.
                          
"What about the cure?" I asked him.
                          
"Do you want it?" He asked. 
                          
"Yes but I don't want to lose what I have here I have never felt more at home then I have here with you" I said.
                          
"You just got out of a long term relationship and I don't think trying get over him with me is the answer" He said and I frowned. "Trust me I want you more than anything but I want to no your feelings are real" He said hovering over me.
                          
"Compel me and you will no I'm not lying" I said. 
                          
"Are you sure?" He asked. I nodded my head then he looked deep into my eyes.
                          
'Who are you in love with?'
                          
"I loved Drake but I'm in love with you I only want you" I say and look at him weirdly. "Please say something" I say to him but he only stairs.
                          
"I have mixed feelings about you. Sometimes I just want to tear you apart and sometimes I only want you in my arms so I can protect you" He says. "Your my mate Ashley.....I see that now and your human side is trying to fight the bond we have" He says looking at me sadly. "I'm afraid you take that cure you will never feel the same about me. It will break the bond. You still might have feelings for me after taking the cure, idk but if you ever decided to become a full vampire we would feel things for each other that are out of this world" He says.
                          
"All I have ever wanted was....a normal life, a human life and now because I love you I can't have it" I say sadly. 
                          
"This is your choice I'm not forcing you to do anything but I would say embrace your humanity for a couple of years then go from there but again being around you is already hard for me let alone human you" He says sadly. "But if it means one day you can be mine forever then I will do whatever it takes to fight it I promise" He says. 
                          
"I'm going to be human" I say smiling. 
                          
"I don't want to hurt you" He says. "But there is something I have wanted to do...." He says sliding his hand down my arm. "Sense I laid eyes on you" He says. 
                          
He was hovering over me placing gentle kisses along my collarbone and lips. He then started to in bottom my shirt before I knew we were both completely exposed. He got up and within seconds was back with the little foil packet. He laid back down and began to kiss me but I was distracted by the foil packet I kept my eyes on it. He noticed my gaze and looked at me strangely. 
                          
"What's wrong?" He asked.
                          
"Iv never....." I tried to find the words but couldn't.
                          
"Oh...." He stopped and laid on the other side of the bed. "So you and Drake never?......" He asked.
                          
"No" I said. Drakes name still stung in my heart when I heard his name.
                          
"You guys have been together for how long and never had sex?" He asked.
                          
"We always thought we would wait till marriage" I said.
                          
"Wow no wonder he didn't try to stop the wedding" He said and I glared at him. "Sorry" He said. "Looks like your going to be a virgin for a long time then love" He said getting up. 
                          
"Wait what? Your just going to make me feel like that and leave?" I asked upset.
                          
"No I'm going to put my clothes on and lay next to you so we can't talk about your future" He says.
                          
"What about it?" I asked.
                          
"The cure, your responsibilities, you and I.....your life is going to be changed forever" He says.
