Step 7You know how kids really hate to sleep, right? I do. Its already almost midnight and the boys are still hyper. No matter if I tried to encourage them.
"PILLOW FIGHT!"
"your gonna lose, pap!"
Feathers started to scatter around the room as they enjoy their 'pillow fight', they both laugh while hitting each other with their pillows.
"Ok, boys. You guys need to go back to sleep." I announced.
"no way, dadi-yo, imma beat pap down to the bone, he- oof!" Suddenly Sans got been hit by a pillow directly on his face by Papyrus.
"I SHALL DEFEAT YOU AND YOUR ANNOYING JOKES! OOF!" Then Sans hit him back.
"its called a pun!" Sans laughed.
Ok, if I cant tuck them in bed, then I have no other choice but to put them to sleep. I started levitating Sans and Papyrus and threw them on the bed with blankets to cover them.
"Now sleep."
I sighed and closed the lights for the two of them. I gently closed the door and decided to went downstairs to check if my experiment could work this time. Hopefully. The oil stench and metal went through my nose holes - since I'm a skeleton - and as usual, I was greeted by my wrecked experiment. So I did the same again, review, fix, recheck, and test if its working
This time.
"Ok, hope this work again." I muttered.
I turn on the time machine, type down the date and time as usual. I put a ragged doll in it and step back to see the machine glowing. And
It didn't work. Again.
I frustratedly scratch my skull and saw the machine a bit wrecked. Atleast its not completely destroyed, there's just some oversized cracks. I write it down on my notes and check inside the machine but I gasped when I saw a piece of paper. I grab the paper carefully and there was a title written on it.
The Resets
I raise my eyebrow(?) and read the details and descriptions. Turns out, it was wirtten in scientifical formulas, thankfully I understand the methods. Its about a high determination that could reset time.
Could this be . . ?
A helpful note that I could make the time machine that works successfully. Could I finally build this machine to save everyone? So no monsters would ever suffer no more. I wish though.
But somehow Hope is very strong but very, very
Fragile . . .
"Oh Gaster, stop being so hopeless, isn't this normal for scientist?" I muttered to myself.
I chuckled at how negative I am. Ok, I'll just have to focus on this note. I mean this never happen the previews experiments until now. So I'll just consider this as a clue for making a time machine. My lips(?) twitched into a smile, thinking there might be a chance that my experiment will work this time. I placed the note on my visoon board next to a picture of Sans and Papyrus when they were little.
"You grow up so fast." I sighed, strking the picture.
Then I felt a liquid on my cheekbone. Its a tears. Am I crying? How do skeletons even cry?
