I laughed and commented back.

I hit send before it even processed what I just did. I basically just flirted with Niall Horan and I even sent a fucking winky face. I let out a sigh of relief when I realized he probably won’t even see the comment.
                          
About 10 minutes later no new comments showed up on that picture and I was relieved he didn’t see my fail at flirting but kind of sad he hadn’t answered. My phone buzzed and I screamed, throwing it. What the hell is wrong with me? I took a deep breath and looked at my phone seeing my mom’s name flash across the screen. I answered as fast as I could not wanting to keep her waiting.
                          
“Hey Mom, what’s up?”
                          

“Why isn’t your brother answering his phone?”
                          

“He’s driving; he went to Alex’s dorm for the night.”
                          

She sighed and told me she would be home in a half hour before hanging up.
                          
I got another instagram notification and almost shot myself in the face when I saw it was from Niall.
                          

What’s ur face time ? I’d love for you to teach me !
                          

I bent over, holding onto my knees for support while taking deep breaths. There is no way this is real life. Just last night I was watching them in concert now Niall wanted to face time with me? Someone’s pulling a prank on me, it has to be. Niall never responds to fans on instagram! Why the hell would he respond to me?!
                          
Just in case there was that slight chance it really was him, I commented back my number and sat back, waiting. My mom came home a few minutes later and I helped her bring in all the groceries.
                          

“Your cousins will be here later tonight and don’t you dare think about just locking yourself in your room and avoiding them Tessa! I don’t understand why you grew so distant from them the past few years. You used to love seeing them.”
                          

I rolled my eyes and screamed dropping the bag of groceries I was carrying when I heard my ringtone going off in my pocket. My mom glared at me and began picking up the cracked eggs but I was too nervous to care. I pulled my phone out and stared at it seeing an unknown number flashing across my screen trying to face time with me.
                          
I ran upstairs to my room and clicked the accept button before fixing my hair and calming myself down. No way was Niall gonna think I was a crazed fan. A few seconds later it connected and Niall’s flawless face popped up on the screen. He smiled at me and I flashed him one of my famous charming Tessa smiles.
                          

“This is the girl that’s supposed to teach me how to hang a spoon on my nose right?”
                          

I laughed and nodded.
                          

“What? Did you think I gave you a fake number?”
                          

I gasped and pretended to act hurt but as soon as he started laughing I couldn’t help but join in.
                          

“So let’s get down to business. I have my spoon.”
                          

He grinned and pulled a metal spoon out from next to him and started showing it off like a model would show off their product.
                          

“Wow watch out, looks like Niall’s got a secret talent, spoon modeling.”
                          

He laughed once again and I couldn’t help but smile knowing that I got him to laugh all by myself.
