I woke in the morning, a very sleepy Draco still snoozing in my arms. I squeezed him tightly into to my chest, gently kissing his forehead. He turned in my arms, his face now parallel with my left arm, snuggling up and wrapping his arms around it. It was simply the sweetest thing, that he wanted to be affectionate with me, even in sleep.
He murmured something, but I couldn't just catch what it was. But his murmuring got louder and louder, and soon it was quite audible.
"Where'd you go?" He whispered.
"Why did you leave? Why did you leave me? Harry?"
I inhaled deeply, pulling him closer to my chest.
"Please don't leave me. Don't go."
He clung tightly to my arm, slightly cutting off the blood supply. It was as though Draco was clinging on for dear life. He seemed scared, his lip was trembling and breathing fast, even in slumber.
He eyes suddenly fluttered open, and he seemed dazed for a moment. Draco didn't know what he was doing here. His mind focused slightly, it always took a moment when you were having bad dreams.
"Harry?" He said, his voice heavy with sleep.
"I'm here Draco. And I'm not going anywhere. I promise. Bad dream angel?"
He burrowed his face into my neck, before nodding slightly.
I placed my hand on his chin, moving his face closer to mine. I kissed his cheek, his forehead, his temple, his jawline, his nose, making my way to his lips.
I kissed him softly, to comfort him. Clearly he was a lot more fearful about our relationship than I could've ever imagined. And I wasn't going to let him go. I hugged him tightly as he rolled so he was straddling me slightly, and kissed me passionately.
"I don't want to let you go." He whispered into my ear.
"I know angel, I know." I said to him, kissing him once more to stop him talking.
We got dressed, and hurried to breakfast, Draco insisting 'breakfast was the best meal of the day so should be treated with the utmost importance'. I nearly fell down the stairs at this, and clung to the banister for dear life, for fear of falling through the interchanging staircases.
We headed to breakfast, where Draco sat next to me and ate a bacon sandwich. I spent a considerable amount of breakfast not focusing on my cornflakes or what Hermione was saying about Charms or Ron trying to interrupt Hermione (she was having none of that) to talk about something else. We all finished quickly, and Draco got up to leave.
"I have got to go now baby. I am meeting with Flitwick, to discuss my Charms NEWT. I'll see you later."
"Bye angel."
I kissed him softly and he departed, leaving me with Hermione and Ron, who were discussing muggle joke shops.
It was a very entertaining conversation, watching Ron listen to Hermione talk about the types of products. He kept on insisting that anything in Weasley's Wizard Wheezes was a thousand times better than any 'cheap tat' that you buy from a muggle joke shop; as it was real magic, oppose to an attempt to master it by muggles.
