Xinwen's POV
"Yah! Meilin! Xu Meilin!" I shouted but the call suddenly ended.
"What's wrong?" then I heard Qianxi's voice, asking me from behind.
I quickly turned to him. "Meilin.. she.. she sounds tired and I want to pick her up. Let's go." I immediately jumped into the car.
"Hey, do you know where is she?" Qianxi also jumped into the seat beside me.
"I think I heard she said that she's in front of our school." I answered as I started to drive the car to our school.
As we arrived there, I quickly ran to the public phone in front of the school. But, I saw no one there.
But, this one thing caught my eyes. It was Meilin's wristband that she got from Junkai last year.
I bowed down and took the wristband. "This is hers. Where's she?" I looked around to find her but she still didn't show herself.
"It's okay. We wait here first. I'll call Junkai and Yuan." Qianxi said as he took out his phone and called them.
Honestly, Qianxi shouldn't call Junkai and tell him that. He won't be panic or even worry.
After a few minutes, the both of them arrived here. "What happened?" Yuan asked.
"I don't know. She's missing. Here, her wristband." I gave Yuan the wristband.
Yuan was about to take the wristband from me but, Junkai suddenly took it. "This is the wristband that I gave her last year."
Junkai's POV
"This is the wristband that I gave her last year."
{Flashback}
"Yah, yah. Where do you take me to? Can I open my eyes?" She asked, still holding my hands.
"No, you can't. We almost there. Just wait, Meilin." I whispered to her as I pulled her hand.
We ended up at the rooftop. I locked the door behind me and walked closer to Meilin who was standing alone at the middle if the rooftop.
"Kai ah, where are you?" She asked.
"I'm here." I whispered at her ear.
"Yah, don't leave me." She softly punched my arm.
I chuckled and opened the bandage around her eyes. She looked around the rooftop and then, looked at me. I smiled to her and she did the same.
"Do you like it? Maybe this not as special as you wan-" before I could finish my sentences, she suddenly pulled me closer and kissed my lips.
My eyes widened but, I kissed her back. "I like this. Thank you." She then hugged me.
I smiled and hugged her back.
We then broke the hug. I looked at her. I took out a red flowers wristband and tied it around her wrist. " This is my present to you. Don't lose it or else.. I won't talk to you forever."
"I won't." She smiled.
"I know you won't." I hugged her again.

I looked around the school, but I still didn't see her.
I walked closer to Xinwen. "Where's Meilin? What did she said to you?" I asked her.
"I don't know where she is. But, she said that she's sick." She answered.
"Aiya, where are you, Meilin?" I asked myself as I ruffled my hair.
Meilin's POV
I slowly opened my eyes and tried to move my body, but I couldn't. I looked around and then, I noticed that I was being tied on a wood chair.
"You wake up already, huh?" I heard a familiar female's voice.
I looked up and I was really shocked to see her.
Xin Meixiang.
"Meixiang?" I scanned her face.
"Yes, I am. Why? Are you shocked?" She walked closer to me. "Don't be shocked. You're the one who wants this, aren't you?"
"What do you mean?" I asked her, raising my eyebrows.
"Huh, still don't know. Such a dumber." She smirked.
"Tell me. What have I done to you that is wrong?" I said.
"Because of you... Junkai hates me!" She suddenly shouted. Junkai... "Junkai shouldn't know you! Because of you, he doesn't love me anymore! I hate you! You should just die!"
I stole Junkai from her? Did I?
"Meixiang." I called her, looking down on the floor. "If you want Junkai.. you can have him then."
"Huh, don't pretend to be kind. Of course I can have him after you die." She pushed my head.
"Please... You really can have him. Please don't kill me. I'm begging you." I begged her.
"Rea..lly?" She looked down. "Do you think so?"
"Huh?" It was weird. Just now, she acted cool just like a real killer, but now? Why did she looked so scared?
"You know what? I'm scared..." She confessed. "I'm scared that Junkai won't love me anymore."
"I'm sorry." I apologized.
Yuan's POV
We waited in front of the school for hours. I looked at Junkai. He couldn't stop walk back and forth. I stood up and walked to him. Suddenly, I saw a figure of two familiar girls.
"Meilin." I called her.
Junkai immediately looked at Meilin too. He ran towards her and hugged her. But, she suddenly pushed him.
Meilin's POV
I called Xinwen using Meixiang's phone. I told her that I'm okay and I asked her where she is right now. She told me that she was at school with the others. She also told me that Junkai was so worried about me.
Meixiang and I walked to the school together. Meixiang had told me everything, including about she lied to Junkai that she had a brain cancer.
We've arrived at school. I saw Xinwen and the others were waiting in front of the school. I walked closer to them. Suddenly, I saw Junkai was running towards me.
Meixiang and I automatically stopped. I looked at him. He suddenly hugged me. I was really shocked and quickly pushed him away. I looked at Meixiang and mouthed her sorry. She nodded and smiled.
"I'm sorry." I said to him. "Please go with her." I whispered to him before walk to Yuan.
I'm sorry, Kai. But, I have to do this or else.. I won't meet you anymore.
