The smell of syrup and rotten eggs filled her nose. Nina's whimpers and bangs against what was possibly a trunk increased as she gained conscious.

There was nothing but darkness, her hands were restrained resting on her chest as she could barely move in the small trunk.

She began to cry out with her raspy voice. Eventually she stopped. I need to think clearly she thought.

With a cloth over her eyes she could only listen in on her surroundings. Gravel could be heard. Then a few bumps and dips until the car stopped. A door opened and closed, followed by footsteps coming closer towards her.

Her breathing went shallow.

The dark figure abruptly opened the trunk to reveal Nina drowning in her own tears. Her shorts and off-the-shoulder sweater clung to her cold frail body.

She was then grabbed out by the feet, slid out the trunk and hit the hard gravel.

She tried squirming away but his grip was firm.

She tried digging her fingers between the gravel leaving a trail of her blood and broken nails behind.

The unknown figure lead her through the woods and into a small cabin home.

The small cabin stored hearts in large jars that were neatly placed on a wooden victorian shelf. On top of them laid a smaller shelf with even smaller jars, this time they contained eyes of all color. Next to them was the door and across that was a wooden brown vanity. There were brushes, hair pins, and ribbons of all sizes and color.

Two side tables both lined with thin slices of skin. In the middle of the room was a bed, smothered in pillows and soft light colored blankets.

He set her down on a bed and tied her hands to the bed post.

" What d-do you w-want from me? W-why? " Nina's words were jumbled between sniffles and stutters. She couldn't contain her screeching tears and cries for help.

He slowly removed the the tightly wrapped cloth from Nina's teary brown eyes. Her vision now blurry and face bruised from the previous bash to the head.

It was him, the curly brown haired monster. He removed his glasses revealing his green eyes.

" She'll come for me you know!" said Nina. She thought, if she kept telling herself that, one day she might actually believe it.

The figure leaned forward only inches from her puffy face. He spoke softly but it still frightened her.

" That's what I hope for. "
