Chapter Twenty-One (Tobias's POV)

                                    

                                          
AN/ hi guys so I still have writers block, but I'm going to try to update because I haven't in a while so, Try to enjoy the chapter, sorry if my writing is crappy, like I said, I have writers block towards this specific story.

The light from my window floods the room quickly waking me up. Tris is still asleep next to me, she looks so much happier when she is sleeping, like she hasn't been through everything she has.

Her eyes flutter open, "How long have you been staring at me?" she whispers, her eyes closing again.

"Not very long" I smile, my fingers absently tucking a piece of hair behind her ear.

She opens her eyes again, "I want to go back to sleep." She complains, closing
her eyes and snuggling closer to me.

"It's a pretty long walk to the fence do you want to be walking at night?" I ask her, she shrugs and doesn't reply for a minute, probably thinking over the choices.

"Not really, but why can't we just stay here for the day, then we can start towards the fence tomorrow?" She suggests, opening her eyes to look at me.

"Don't you think Christina, Will, Uriah, Marlene, Zeke, and Cara are wondering where we are?" I remind her, she suddenly realizes that we completely forgot about them. We've been gone for almost a week, where did they think we were? 

Never mind, I don't think I want to know the answer. Especially not from them.

"We should probably get up then," Tris starts, "I don't want them to think we abandoned them."

"Yeah, that's what they are thinking." I mutter under my breath, Tris slaps me playfully on the arm.

"Shut up," she laughs, "I highly doubt that's what they're thinking. Well maybe Zeke or Uriah, but... Well you get my point."

I hear hushed voices in the hallway, but they don't sound like Eric's or Jeanine's.

"Do you really think this is where they went?" a familiar voice asks, I can't quite pinpoint whose though.

"They're in Four's apartment, if I had to guess." Finally a voice I can recognize. Zeke's.

I hear the door knob rattle, I remember locking it last night. Zeke rattles the knob a bit more before giving up to try to knock on the door. Tris stands up out of the bed almost silently before telling me to get down. I obey her and crouch on one side of my bed, looking on the gap underneath to see what she is doing.
                          
Tris unlocks the door, stands behind it then opens it so they can't see her. I see Zeke and who ever else is with him walk in at least two feet wondering how the door opened until Tris jumps out from behind the still open door and screams. She as Uriah would say 'scared them shitless'.
                          
I hear a female scream, and then say "God dammit Tris you scared the Shit out of me."
                          
"Sorry Chris, but you have to admit that was pretty funny." Tris laughs, collapsing on the ground.
                          
"Where's Four?" I hear Zeke ask, I slowly stand up without either of them realizing and stand right behind Zeke, he's a bit shorter so I can see over his head. I see Tris point to me, Zeke looks at her like she's crazy then realizes she meant behind him. I step back about a foot quickly before Zeke turns around and jumps a little, almost scared him.
                          
"Where have you guys been?" Christina asks us, she gets a suspicious look from Zeke who wiggles his eyebrows.
                          
"And how long have you guys been here?" Zeke adds, he steps farther away from me for some reason, then glances at Christina who shrugs and puts her hands up in mock surrender.
                          
"Just since last night," Tris answers after a long moment of silence. She starts walking towards Christina, but Christina is obviously scared of something and starts backing up.
                          
"We escaped Jeanine yesterday afternoon, and ran here." I add on to Tris's explanation to help it make  more sense.
                          
"But there were Erudite reports saying you escaped and were shot immediately after, we believed it at first, but then realized how many times you in paticular," Christina points at Tris, "Have cheated death."
                          
Tris just shrugs, "So are we going back to the Bearu or what?" She questions, starting towards the door.
                          
"Yeah, yeah. But answer me this." Zeke starts, "I heard Caleb was with you, where is he now?" Tris doubles over in laughter almost collapsing.
                          
"I locked him in the bathroom." Tris can't seem to contain herself and collapses on the floor in a fit of laughs. Christina does the same, but Zeke raises a questionable eyebrow at me.
                          
"We were about to break out of the compound, then Tris wanted to leave Caleb there so she ran into the bathroom, screamed and told Caleb there was a spider and to kill it.  As soon as Caleb got inside she walked out, closed the door behind her and locked it. The door locked from the outside." I explain to him, he lets out a small laugh.
                          
"Nice," He says, starting towards the door, I follow him, stepping over Tris and Christina who are still laughing their heads off.
                          
"Um... Should we just leave yo guys here or what?" I say trying to get their attention. They slowly stand up and make their way to the door, muttering back and forth about something.
                          
We start off towards the Bearu, this is going to be a long night.
