Chapter Thirty Six

                                    

                                          
Chanyeol would never know how it feels to know that you're mother has an incurable disease because a) his mom is 100% health freak and besides they don't have a history in their family and b) he is not even sure if he cares about her anyway. 
                          
But he knew Baekhyun otherwise. In all those drunk moments and chat times he had with the little puppy, he knew that Baekhyun loved his family so much. He never asked about them but he loves talking about how lucky he is. 
                          
Chanyeol couldn't understand what he's doing, he just feels that Baekhyun is a helpless person. He lost the love of his life months ago and now his mother is sick. He has read a lot of books that when someone experiences too much pain they are prone to suicide, he himself knew that since he almost committed suicide, a hundred times actually. 
                          
He and Kyungsoo were both like that, they are so broken they think the only solution is to end everything. He didn't want Baekhyun to be like them. He wants Baekhyun to continue being the sunshine he was, and if he can, he would like Taehyung to be erased completely. 
                          
His thoughts were distracted when he hears a chuckle. "Stupid Park Chanyeol" 
                          
Chanyeol moves away and saw Baekhyun looking at him like a mad man. Baekhyun starts wiping his tears and sighs, "how many times do I have to tell you to leave Baekhyun alone?" Chanyeol frowns, "this is why I can't, you can't just change and take over everything"
                          
Taehyung laughs, "since when did you care? You're a God damn robot! Why do you meddle in his affairs so much? Huh, tell me" Chanyeol pauses, he couldn't tell Taehyung the truth. Taehyung smirks, "You will never have Baekhyun, as long as I am here. Now go" he then starts walking away, until Chanyeol grabbed his arm. Taehyung immediately let go and angrily looks at Chanyeol. 
                          
"I love him Taehyung. I can't let him go"
                          
Before Taehyung can react, the hardness of his face slowly left, his angry eyes turned fragile. Chanyeol was able to see him transform in front of his eyes, they were both frozen until they heard a glass crash, both of them turned to the direction and saw Luhan and Sehun. 
                          
Sehun kept on looking at Chanyeol as Baekhyun and Luhan were inside Mrs Byun's room. "So.. that was a confession" he started but Chanyeol kept his mouth shut. Sehun rolls his eyes, "dude, you don't need to be shy about it. I'm gay too, it's cool" 
                          
Chanyeol frowns and looks at Sehun, "it's cool?" Sehun laughs, "well look who's the denial king here.. yeah. Being able to accept yourself is cool and being with the person you love is cooler" Chanyeol tries to keep himself normal, he shouldn't get pissed with this total stranger who barely knows him.
                          
Sehun noticed Chanyeol's quietness, "anyways, I hope what you told Baekhyun is true because you don't want to mess with Luhan. He's like Baekhyun's father or something." Chanyeol didn't even react and just continued to look at the door of Mrs Byun's room.
                          
Just then, they both heard footsteps to them. Both men turn and saw Baekhyun and Chanyeol's friends. "Sorry, it took us a long time to gather everyone" Suho explains while Chanyeol just nods. "Where is Baekhyun?" Kai asks, still looking worried as ever. "They're talking to the doctor inside" Sehun answers. 
                          
"Poor Baekhyunnie" Xiumin mumbles as he and Chen sat down. Eunji then arrives but stops when she sees the group. "Oh! I didn't know a lot of you are coming today.. I'll just buy more" she is about to leave when Chanyeol stands up, "I'm coming with you"
                          
The rest of the guys look surprise seeing the ever arrogant and Prince Chanyeol accompany someone to the market. Chanyeol didn't mind them and smiles at Eunji, "let's go?" She lightly nodded and they walk away. 
                          
"For some reason, I think there's something wrong with Chanyeol" Chen comments. "Yeah, he should be checked as well" Xiumin adds. Suho smiles, "I just think that he changed because of a certain someone" "So his confession was true?" Sehun asks.
                          
Kai, Xiumin, Chen and Suho turns to the stranger. "Confession?"
