It creaks under the pressure,
Subdued by the weight,
Pound after pound,
The problems increase,The structure creaks and cracks,
The welds only holding for so long,Seems this bench and I are the same,
But I face the weight of the world,
And it, the weight of me,
It may relate,
But I am only human,
The oak I sit apon,
'Tis only a bench.
