~ Will ~

His heart almost stopped when he saw her being carried out of the woods, it was his fault she was like this. Will tried to calm himself down but he couldn't. It wasn't the fact that her arms and legs were bleeding or that her face was scrunched up in pain, it was the words, the strange words she was murmuring softly, that really worried him.

He took her pulse as Kayley stood by her friends side, looking unconcerned, "She'll be fine." She put out her arm expectantly, Austin stepped back, "No, I'm not giving her to you, you'll probably drop her!" Kayley looked dead sirius, "Trust me, I won't."

Austin shook his head, "No." Will stepped forward, "Austin give her to me." He took Charlie in his arms and examined her, "We need to get her to the infirmary."

"Well, no duh." Kayley muttered.

Will glared at her, "She's your best friend, why don't you want to help?"

"I do, I offered to carry her, but Austin said no."

"For good reason."

Kayley shrugged and led the way to the infirmary.

Will paced back and forth, "Nothing is working..."

Nico put his hand on Will's shoulder, "Will, relax. She'll be fine. Just calm down and think."

Will studied him, "I am thinking."

Will could have kicked himself, it was his fault Charliewas like this, he looked down at her. She lay still on one of the infirmary beds, her cuts were gone and her scratches healed, but she was still murmuring in a strange language. Her head would toss from side to side every so often. She would cry out at unexpected times, startling everyone.

Chiron came in and Will walked over to him, "I've never seen anything like it..." he said, "I don't know what to do..." The old centaur patted him on the shoulder and trotted past Nico, he knelt before the daughter of Apollo. His expression turned from confident to confused, then worried. He turned to Will, "I'm not sure, I'll go see if I can find anything that can help." He turned and left.

Will turned to Nico, "What do I do?"

He froze, "I don't know..."

They both looked at Charlie. Then they looked at the doorway, Kayley stood there, her brow was knit in concentration. Suddenly she pushed past Will and knelt at her friend's side, she listened to what Charlie was saying for a few moments the looked up, her eyes unfocused, "She'll be fine, Will."

Will stomped his foot, "No, she won't. We've tried everything!"

Kayley's smile was mysterious, "Not everything, Lego Man." She faced her friend, "Watch and learn."

Kayley raised her hands above her friends head, as if to cast a magic spell. Then she stopped, she lowered her hands, the very slowly put up her pointer finger and poked her friend.

Charliesat up immediately, "What did I miss?"

Kayley turned to Will, grinning widely, "And that is how it's done, my friend."

"How?"

"Skill."

"You knew?"

Kayley ignored his questions as she helped Charlie to her feet, she leaned on Kayley for support but besides that looked back to normal. She gave them a thumbs up, "Will, I know you were under a lot of stress. So I forgive you, as long as you say that I was right."

Will nodded slowly, still in shock.

Charlie grinned at Nico, "Take care of him for me, okay?"

Nico smiled, "Yeah, sure. Glad your okay."

"Okay?" She looked up at Kayley for information.

Kayley smiled, "I'll tell you everything! Now, let's go!"

Charlie smiled and left, still leaning on her friend for support.
