Okay, before we start this chapter I want to mention that when I create fictional characters, I normally like to find anime characters that match their appearances in my head. These could be from anime I have watched or just anime that I've seen on social media, but I'm going to show you them just so you get a better idea of how they look.

Ekiro didn't answer my request, simply because he wasn't given the time to. Several more guards hurried down the corridor, and their battle expressions faded when they saw us both. Ekiro was on top of me thanks to our previous fighting.
"The prisoner escaped!" One of them shouted, running towards me with magic restriction cuffs.
"No, wait-" Ekiro protested, but I was unable to move out of the way before they cuffed my hands. Another one hurried over and stood me up on my feet.
"We'll take her from here, commander. Chairman's orders," one said to Ekiro, before dragging me down the corridor. I glanced over my shoulder, and watched Ekiro's regretful face disappear as I turned a corner.
