Luke's POV
After a short meeting with our manager Mandy, I am walking towards Ashton and Hannah's room with a brown envelope in my hand. We are on our seventh show in the U.K and we're in Manchester. I excitedly run into their room and throw the envelope at Hannah
"What's this?" she smiles
"Your magazine cover" I say
She opens the envelope carefully and pulls out the photo. As soon as she see's the picture her face drops. In one foul swoop she tears the photo in half and runs out. Ashton tries to follow her but soon enough I hear a loud slam of the door.
Ashton walks back in and pieces the picture back together, I look at it and at first I see no problem but then it strikes me that her thighs have been shrunk, her freckles have been cleared, her skin has been darkened and worst of all her scars have all been erased.
"Fuck" I groan pushing the page away
How could they do that to a fucking fifteen year old girl, she's perfect the way she is.
"Wait, we should go find her" Ashton sighs getting up
"Nah, the hotel security know not to let her out without a security guard or one of us, we should let her cool off" I say
"Ok, What should we do?" he asks
"What can we do?"

Ashton's POV
After Hannah saw the cover she hasn't talked to anyone she's just been on her laptop for the last two hours. She leaves the room to get ready for the concert and the protective Dad in me takes over and I sneak onto her laptop. I go through the history :
How to reduce thigh fat?
How much does bulimia hurt your body?
What's the best fondation/concealer to cover scars?
What's the minimum amount of calories you eat a day?
Every word feels like a punch in the stomoch, how can someone not think she is beautiful. She's spent her entire life being told she wasn't good enough, now she really believes it. The concert is soon so we all walk downstairs.
We all climb into the car and for the entire journey Hannah is silently looking out her window. The boys and I talk quietly until we have to sprint into the venue. Hannah runs away to her dressing room as soon as she can.
I walk into her room and she ignores me. She is wearing a long sleeved dress and her neck is caked in foundation in an attempt to cover her scars. I sit down on the couch beside her and she rests her head on my shoulders and I try and roll up her sleeves but she quickly rolls them back down.
"Why won't you let me see them?" I pout
"because their ugly" She says
"no thier not" I say
"They are a reminder of something I went through, nobody needs a reminder. I forgot that." she says sadly
"Well I want to see them" I say
"Well you don't get to see them" she tells me
"I like them" I complain
"Well clearly no one else does" she sighs getting up and picking up her guitar
"Where you going?" I ask
"I have to go open for you" she smiles weakly
"Good luck" I say
"Ditto"
