A/N PLEASE READ!!!: Hey guys! So I hope you guys are enjoying reading the story as much as I am about writing them! Okay so in my story, I am making Aphmau mean/evil. WAIT!!! Before you hate me hear me out! I feel like there should be some romantic tension between the reader and Aphmau. It makes it more dramatic and I personally like the idea. I know Aphmau is not mean AT ALL! She is really nice and I love her for that, but I just feel like since Aphmau and the reader have feelings for Garroth there should be some tension between them. Again don't hate me! I am just trying to make this story different from other stories! Okay, now back to the story!

Your POV:

You both started walking in a comfortable silence, both of you stealing glance at each other. You have to admit, he was quite handsome. He had a muscular body and stood with pride in every stride. He was truly a great guard. You hadn't realized you had been daydreaming until you looked up and noticed you were approaching the very gates you were avoiding a few hours earlier.

You looked up with Garroth with guilty ___(e/c) eyes. You had to tell him. Maybe you should tell him about Zane. Maybe he can help you! You took a deep breath and was prepared to tell Garroth about Zane when a voice interrupted you.

"Garroth, there you are! I was getting worried!"

A woman with black hair and hazel eyes came running towards Garroth. She engulfed Garroth in a hug. You felt a pang of jealousy go through you. Still in Garroth's embrace, she looked over and glared at you. Your ___(e/c) eyes widened in shock. Garroth got out of the embrace and her face to one of innocents. She looked around Garroth and gave a "shocked" face.

"Oh Garroth, is the girl from earlier?"

Garroth smiled and put his hand on my shoulder, "Yes Lord Aphmau, this is ____(y/n). ___(y/n) this is Aphmau, she is lord of the village."

You could feel Aphmau's glare at his hand on your shoulder. You quickly took a step away from Garroth, causing him to drop his hand from your shoulder. He looked over at you with a confused expression. You shook it off and held out your hand to Aphmau.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Aphmau," you said, trying to be nice.

Aphmau took your hand and squeezed it hard.

"Pleasures all mine," she said with a sickly sweet voice.

She released your hand. You held your hand against your chest. You could feel your heartbeat in your hand. You could feel the tension between you and Aphmau.

"Well, allow me to show you where you will be living at," Garroth said breaking the tension. Clearly not noticing the tension.

You looked at Garroth with shock in your eyes.

"And what makes you think that I want to live here," you said with shock in your voice.

Garoth gave you a playful look, "Well I assumed that you would want to stay with us for a while considering you haven't mentioned a village."

You saw where he was going and decided to play along.

"Well what if I didn't want to sleep in the village?"

"Oh and where are you going to sleep? That tree," he said pointing to a tall oak tree.

"Why yes I was considering sleeping in that tree, it looks very comfortable," you said in a matter of factly tone.

Garroth laughed and gave you an amusing look. You beamed at Garroth and laughed a little too.

Garroth's POV:

She has such a beautiful laugh...

Your POV:

You looked over at Aphmau and saw her giving you a look of pure hate. When she noticed you looking at her she quickly changed her look and smiled.

"Well I will let Laurance show you where your house is..."

Garroth interrupted and said, "I can show her Aphmau, it's no problem."

You could tell Aphmau didn't like this idea, but she had no choice.

"Well okay, if it's no problem..."

"Great!"

Garroth motioned for you to follow him and you both walked off towards what looked like the center of the village. You could feel Aphmau's glare on you the whole time. You brushed your hands through your ___(h/c) hair and shook off her glare. You and Garroth walked through town and walked in silence until you reached a house. (A/N: The picture above). Garroth opened the door for you and let you in. You stepped and looked at Garroth.

"Thank you so much for everything. You have been really helpful."

Garroth smiled at me sweetly and took your hand and kissed the top of it.

"It was my pleasure."

A slight blush formed on your cheeks. Garroth waved at you and walked out of the house.

You smiled and walked over. You opened a random door and with your luck it was the bedroom. You walked over to the bed a laid down on it. A smile formed on your lips and for once in quite a while you felt safe. You were home!

???'s POV:

Well well, so this is where you have been hiding...
