"[Name]-chan~!"

"Hm? Did you need something, Riko-senpai?"

"Un. Do you mind cleaning up a bit while I take the guys out for a quick run around the block?"

"Of course."

"Really? Thanks, [Name]-chan! You're the best! Jya~"

"Be safe, everyone!" you called as you sent them off.

You left the gym door open for some fresh air and began your work.

You picked up all the basketballs, refilled the water bottles and brought out a new set of towels for the team to use when they got back.

When you had exited the storage room, however, you noticed one lone basketball tucked away in the corner of the gym.

"Really...? First, a fraction of the balls go missing. Now... they're hidden in places around the gym."

You sighed and jogged over to the other side of the court. But when you had picked the ball up, you noticed there was writing on it, a bit messy too.

Go outside. Um... please.

You sweat-dropped at the obviously hurried handwriting written sloppily on the other side of the ball. You took in a deep breath and tucked the ball under your arm as you slowly approached the threshold of the door.

Once you approached the door, you noticed the members of the basketball team, including Riko, standing in a line.

They each held a basketball in their hands, each of them with a character on it.

Will you go to the dance with me?

There holding the ball with the question mark was the giant red-headed idiot.

Once you made eye-contact with Kagami, you gave him a bright smile. You couldn't believe it.

Seeing as Kagami wasn't going to move anytime soon, Kuroko jabbed him in the side as Hyuuga shoved him forward.

"W-Will... um... Yes or...?"

You jumped and tackled the red-head into a hug.

"O-Oi! Be careful, idiot! What if you fall?"

You giggled and nodded yes as you buried your head into his chest. "I won't fall. 'Cause I know you'll catch me~"

"Oi oi oi. Why're you getting so corny? It's weird."

"Idiot."

"What!?"

"Now hurry up and get changed! You're all sweaty and I wanna go home."

"Then go home!"

"BAKAGAMI!! IS THAT HOW YOU TREAT A GIRL!?" Riko shrieked as she hit the tall male on the head.

Before he could say anything, you grabbed onto the hem of his shirt and tugged on it. He grumbled before bending down to your height. You whispered something into his ear so no one could hear. When he stood back up, his face was all red as you laughed out loud.

"I was kidding~ But you are taking me home though."

"Fine..."

Later...

"So how'd you come up with the idea? Your plan didn't really seem Kagami-like," you asked as you poked at the side Kuroko had hit earlier, making him wince slightly.

"Pinterest," was all he said.

"Pi. N. Te. Re. Su. To?" you repeated slowly as the foreign name rolled off your tongue.

"Close enough."

"You westerners sure use some odd words."

"It's not really a word, per se. It's just a made up name for a site."

"Eh? Is that so? Uwah~ English is so cool! It seems like you can just say anything and it'll sound like a real word!"

He smiled softly as he ruffled your hair. "Basically."

"Ka-Kagami!!"

A/N

Wassup y'all! Since it's homecoming time for a lot of schools here in SoCal, I thought I'd write some cute "proposals" for y'all.

*Japanese 101: Because Pinterest is a foreign concept and/or name, they use syllables from their alphabet that closely resemble the syllables from that word. When writing foreign words or "concepts", they use another alphabet, called katakana.

In Japanese, there are a total of three writing systems, so to say: kanji (the complicated looking stuff), hiragana (the "round" looking characters) and katakana (the more "straight" characters). For example, the character for "mi" can be written as み (hiragana) or ミ (katakana). Their are kanji characters for "mi" as well, but which character they use depends on the meaning.

Let me know if y'all want me to have more Japanese lessons included~
