"Time's almost up, let's wait here for now." Germany said as they reached the area. England nodded, glancing down the paths west and north. It was several, several minutes of silence (And Germany pacing) and yet, no one came.

"We might be too early." Germany finally deduced, stopping his pacing.

"Very possible." England said, not looking up from his spellbook.

"I wonder if anyone had any luck so far." Germany said, as if he was trying to start some kind of conversation. England didn't respond. Sighing, Germany continued his pacing, glancing up every so often.

Japan had gone east this time, still feeling extremely ashamed at his mistake. He glanced up quickly, surprised to see a figure walking more towards the east as well.

"That's...!!" He could recognize the figure, but he ran behind a tree, just in case the figure saw him. From the same place the figure had gone, the Korea walked out from it, walking into the nearby building. Japan slowly came out from behind the tree, quickly glancing down the path before walking up to the door.

"That was the other Korea, wasn't it?" He asked himself softly. "Yes, I am sure of it!" He reached out for the door handle, but he pulled his hand back, hesitating. "Wait, I should observe them before I just barge in. I do not want to be out matched." He noticed an open window nearby, peering in.

The room seemed to be filled with smoke, but it was still somehow easy to see inside the room. In it were five figures, all of them sitting on purple cushions. The figure in the middle gave a huge, slightly goofy smile.

"Ahahaha! I love you all~" He said, sounding incredibly familiar. "You're such a wonderful family, aru!" Japan tried to see inside closer, recognizing the figure. Is that...dream China? He asked silently. He does look different but...something is very wrong. The China was wearing his old red robes, the robes Japan could remember him wearing when he was young.

"Ah, I don't need any friends, just my family and that giant panda of a nation!" The China exclaimed. "I'm glad everyone deserted me in the caves and left me for dead! More family for us all, aru!"

"Yay!!" The Korea said, clapping his hands together.

Did he just say...deserted in the caves?  It was starting to look more and more like this China was the real one, or at least to Japan. The China held up what looked like some kind of cigarette or something similar.

"And more opium courtesy of the panda, aru!!" He said

"Double yay!!" The Korea cheered. The other three figures clapped their hands together as well, smiling emptily.

"That...isn't a fake China." Japan said, horrified and backing away from the window. "That's the real one!" His breathing was growing quicker and quicker. "I-I have to warn everyone! I--.." He grabbed his chest, trying to regain control of his breathing. "I-I...can't breather...no...no!...Not again!" A yellow light appeared, blinding him. "aaAAAAAH!!"

I pray the fake has not done anything yet! He hoped as the yellow light glew bright white.

"This is the place." China said, running towards the center of the small area. Russia followed, glancing around.

"Hm?" He observed the surroundings. It wasn't too much to mention. "Oh good! It's very nice here. What did you want to show me?" China stayed silent for a moment, before a wicked grin spread across his face.

"Ehehehe~ You're a sneaky Devil~" He said, not turning. Russia gave a start, about to take a step back in surprise.

"...What?" He simply asked. China seemed to pull something from his pockets. He turned, suddenly stabbing the Russian in the chest. He stared down at China in absolute horror. China, however, smiled even more, glancing up at him.

"You thought you could get away with letting  one of my friends leave me?~" He asked, tilting his head slightly. "You may be just inhabiting Russia's body now, but I know you're in there, Devil!!" He twisted the knife slightly, grinning even more. "This is all your fault!"

"Y...you're not...." Russia tried to choke out, but he was stopped as China dug the knife in even more.

"Not your best friend? Of course not, silly." He said teasingly. He pulled the knife out, letting the Russian fall to the ground. Russia tried to get up, but it was too much for him. He coughed, gasping for air. China pocketed his knife, looking down at him grinning.

"There, that should do it~ Eheheh~" He said, walking around the fallen nation. "it's nothing personal, I just hate losing friends." As he walked off, he began fading as if he was walking through a mist. Russia tried getting up again, but fell back as it was just too much effort.

"ggck...I...I can't get up..I have to warn them..." His energy was fading, fast. "I..." Was the last thing he managed before slipping into unconsciousness.
