Ashika's pov.
"~Hush, hush, little angel. The world is a big place for you. But while you sleep on my arms. I will protect you, I will protect you. So just sleep while I carry you, to the world of dreams~" I sang a lullaby to Josh. Josh fell asleep and Ashika smiled. Soon after that Shachi walked in and looked at me. I have never seen his eyes, but I knew that he was giving me a warm look. He walked beside me and sat down on the bed. He looked at Josh smiling.
"You know. You are a great mother." Shachi said and I looked at him suprised. He had a tear on his cheek. I whiped it away and placed my hand on his face. He turned to look at me and as I was about to remove my hand he placed his hand on mine.
"Shachi?" I said as he took my hand on his. He kissed my hand and looked at me. He mover closer to my face and placed his other hand on cheek.
"Go on a date with me Ashika? When we get to the next island let's have a day just for us." He said and my face started to warm up and he looked at me.
"Okay, but only if I can see your eyes." I said as he looked at me. I moved my hand fast and took his sunglasses. He looked at me right in the eyes. He had blue eyes that looked like they were glowing. He had orange almost golden circles around his irises. It was like looking at the sea. There was the shore and sea that was shining. He then looked away.
"Shachi why do you hide your eyes. They are the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen" I said and he looked at me again.
"You only saw my eyes, not what is behind them. And soon you'll see what I meen." He said as he looked back at me. Then I saw something. His eyes looked like the colors were moving. It looked like they were burning. I saw his amazed look.
"How are you able to look me right in the eyes without falling asleep?" He asked and now I was confuced.
"What do you meen my that?" I asked and he looked down.
"My eyes have sea spirit in them. I was born with them and everybody I looked at fell asleep. My village began to fear me. They thought I was cursed and so I left." He said and I placed my hand on his cheek. He looked at me and I took my hand away. He then was supriced by me kissing his cheek. He was blushing and I walked out of the room with Josh on my arms. He standed up and walked behind me.
