“Wake up, sleeping beauty “I heard Erika yelling. I immediately opened my eyes. Erika was watching over me, stroking my wavy hair. I took a look at me; I was still wearing my black, lace dress. I must have fallen asleep.
“Hurry up. It is almost one p.m. We need to pack our things, and also have a lunch” Ginny and Melissa said, as they were curling their hair.
“Did Alex come here, last night?” I asked Erika, but she hanged her head. “No” she murmured slowly.
I was still lying in her lap, when I heard the door opening.
“Alex?” I asked, but all I heard was a quietly “No”. Cameron came to the room, giving his girlfriend a kiss in the forehead.
I really didn't mean to be pain in the neck, but I just had to find out more about Alex, so I asked him, with a fake, slackly voice
“Where is he?”
Cameron's face froze. He was now, looking pale, like the white hoodie he was wearing. Why was he so transparent? I knew that it was not good; I was preparing for the worst, which I certainly got
“He is in Brittney’s room. He passed there the night” He said nervously, fiddling his leather bracelet.
I was playing with the satin lace of my pajama pants, trying to forget what he just said. I stood up, put on my lovely gray slippers, and went to the toilet. The mirror was all foggy and there was still hot steam splaying in the air. I whipped the fog with my hand and closed the door. I was suffocating from the steam, which was going straight in my nose;
I was brushing my teeth for ten minutes, meanwhile, trying to calm myself down. I was murmuring, therefore spitting out the foam from the tooth paste.
Why in the hell did you pass the night in her bed?
I was claiming not to look depressed, or downhearted, so I covered my face with foundation, mascara and little grey eyeliner on the corner of the eyes.
Like that would help!
I was standing in front of my coffer, with my hands on my hips, thinking what I should wear. We were leaving soon, so I needed something comfortable but yet fashionable for the trip. OH God! Who am I even adorning to?
I made combination from my long gray cardigan, white ‘Beatles’ t-shirt, leggings and black converse all-star’s, which reminded me of “Yesterday”
“…Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play.
Now I need a place to hide away.
Oh, I believe in yesterday…”[1]
I came to the cafeteria, which was more crowded than ever. The tables, full with students were spread even in the lobby; I walked down the hall, to the big wooden server, where were big, white plates full of food. I grabbed one plate with salad, Pease and roast chicken.
I was looking for a seat, looking at the empty seat next to John; I used to sit next to him, hug him. I used to listen to Peter's jokes, just because of John. Something inside me was saying
Get over him!
I sat next to Erika, when I saw Alex coming. His messy hair was gorgeously falling on his face; his perfect smirk was reflecting his white teeth, as he was walking my way, with his baggy, worn out jeans and light blue shirt which brought out his beautiful, emerald eyes.
I grinned, but he lifted his head, giving Brittney a kiss! I raised my eye brow, jolting the plate on the table. I sat, put on the sourest look on my face and started counting the green Pease with my fork.
