Harry instantly shot out of his seat. Was Hagrid back? Did he forget something? Hermione jumped out of her seat in concern and surprise too, opening the door to discover ...
"Professor McGonagall?" Hermione said. Professor McGonagall looked excited and out of breath.
"Miss Granger, and Harry Potter -" She said excitedly. "I just got a letter from the Minister Of Magic .... I've got a good news! They raided the Headquarters and we got an obstacle worth your interest, It can reveal great information if we learn how to get it out of it."
"Professor, what is it?"
"Not here, you have to come this instant! Grab your firebolt, and come on! Miss Granger please be quick, we'll return you to the castle immediately."
Hermione followed an excited and jumpy Professor McGonagall, and her confused friend. The atmosphere was dark, illuminated by  the rays of a disappearing sun. When she was safely inside, McGonagall and Harry turned immediately to leave. Questions flooded her mind, as she walked up the almost empty corridors to the Gryffindor Common Room.
"Gryffinwit." She told the Fat Lady the password as she entered the crowded Common Room.
"Hey Hermione! Where were you?" Parvati asked.
"Oh, nowhere ..." she said.
"Ooooh ... I get it! Were you with Draco? How'd it go?"
She blushed beet red. So the news had spread like wildfire? ''Who told you?'' she asked.
"Are you kidding me? The whole school knows now!" she squealed.
Hermione was aware of that. "I - err - I was with Hagrid having tea ... at his hut." She lied instantly as Parvati gave her a skeptical look.
Her best friend, Rhylie came up and said, "Let's go downstairs, Parvati. I'm starving."
Hermione, not feeling like eating went straight up to her dormitory to complete her homework.

The next morning, as Hermione descended down the Gryffindor Tower she received a lot of stares and once again she realized the boiling hatred in her heart for all this unnecessary attention.
As she reached the Great Hall, a Slytherin girl gave her a rude stare and said, "Granger, watch your back."
Ignoring her, Hermione sat beside Neville, who was furiously scribbling down his Herbology homework he had forgotten to do. She helped herself to some bacon, as the Daily Prophet owl swooped down to her. After paying the owl, she smoothed out the pages. The article before her caught her eye, as she stared horror-struck at her own picture, smiling shyly. Beside her was another small picture of the woman she hated the most:

The Heart-throb of Slytherins Taken: Draco Malfoy Chooses his Girl?

Being the well known former death eater he is, Draco Malfoy still has the capability to love, writes Reeta Skeeter, senior Journalist. Completing his studies at Hogwarts, even though he deserves to be with his father in Azkaban, things haven't been the way they should have for the youngest Malfoy. For the good reputation and blood-line consciousness they had first before the return of the Dark Lord, questions arose as the Malfoys' youngest son chose to fall in love with a simple, Muggleborn girl. Stranger still, as rumors say, he has found his true love this year.
Hermione Granger, incompetent and famous-boys addiction that she is, has successfully managed to lure Malfoy into her love trap. A source inside Hogwarts reports, "Granger has always had the knack of going for those who made it huge in the papers. First Potter, then Krum and now Draco."
What boys see in her is not visible to anybody, because apart from her vast brains she can't keep to herself, she has no other quality a man thrives for.
"She's really witty, you know? She's especially really fast in Potion making, so for all we know she might be using Love Potions." The same source says.

On the other hand, it can be taken into account that Malfoy has a horrible past, being the one 'forced' to join He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. It is commonly believed that this isn't true and that Malfoy joined He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named by his own choice. Like all others, he then excused himself by blaming in on his father, however he was one of the lucky few who were believed ... Maybe, as some theorize it might be a possibility that Draco Malfoy has changed and is not under Love Potion.
Hermione's brain was exploding with anger, and she saw the Slytherins all clutching the Daily Prophet and making rude comments, but she had no time to pay attention to what exactly they were saying, because something was soaring towards her.
