My name is Sky Marie Jacobson, I am 24 years old, and I am a photographer.

I have medium length jet black hair, brown eyes, my tongue pierced, and gauges ears.

I started out doing photos for models but recently I have been wanting to do more concert photos.

When the band at the bar finished their set I handed them my card with my site then proceeded to pack up my equipment.

As I finally got everything in my bag I realized it was three in the morning.

I hated walking in down town LA at this time, there is just something creepy about it.

I finally got to my car and got my wallet out.

Please let me have enough for a hotel room
I begged to myself.

Since switching my photography to concerts instead of modeling I have taken a serious pay cut.

The money from doing shoots for models lasted me a while, but then like all things it caught up to me.

Now I find my self living in my car and scrounging money up to get a hotel room for a night.

Now I know what you are thinking, if I am doing concert shoots for people at bars why don't I have money?

Well simple these bands don't make money themselves, so they can't afford to give me money.

We are helping each other in that sense.

They get some awesome shots to give to producers while I get to add their pictures to my portfolio.

But anyway as I was saying I make the little bit of money I have by playing my guitar on a corner in the park singing.

I don't get much but some people love my voice so they give me money.

As I pulled up to the hotel, I felt my self question every thing for a minute.

Is it worth it? Giving up a job that pays good money for a dream that may or may not happen? Living out if my car?? Staying in hotels every one in a while?

I slowly approached the counter where there was a man dressed in a dashing navy blue suit.

He looked like someone who doesn't get paid enough to work these long hours.

*skipping checking in*

I slowly carried myself to third floor of the hotel, searching for the room I will be sleeping in for the night.

As I approached room 307 I noticed some loud music filling the hall way.

Please don't be close to my room I prayed to myself, I was too tired to deal with rowdy hotel neighbors.

Of course luck couldn't be on my side not one bit.

As I stood in front of my hotel door, the music was coming from the one right next to mine.

I quickly slid my key card in the door and hurried in my room.

Maybe it wouldn't be so loud in here ?

I thought to my self and that's when I seen the one thing I knew was not going to be fun.

As walked through this semi big hotel room there was a door to the left of me, and I knew what that was.

This room was conjoined meaning if I had a friend they could have the room next to me and we could open the door and not have to leave the safety of our room to get to the other.

And just as I dreaded the music was coming from the room conjoining mine.

The only thing I could think about was this is going to be the longest night of my life.

I decided I would give the people next door some time to wind down so in the mean time why not edit some of the pictures from band tonight.

Two hours later:

The party next door was still going strong and I was beyond tired, I had it!

I unlocked my side of the door and as I raised my fist to pound on the door I stopped for a moment.

Did I really want to ruin these peoples night??

...

Yep that's what I wanted to do so I banged on the door like the room was on fire.

And that's when he opened the door....
