The Two Birds

                                    

                                          
Luffy awoke from his slumber letting out loud happy yawn.
                          
Stretching out his arms, he turned his head towards the small window which was letting out soft, bright white rays of sunshine.
                          
Quietly, to not disturb the figure still asleep beside him, he crept out of the bed and crawled to the drawers, pulling on a pair of longish jean shorts with a bright yellow sash tied around the waist and flopping on his signature strawhat.
                          
Luffy was just about to pull on his buttoned red shirt when colorful flashes at the window caught his interest.
                          
Forgetting about his still needed shirt, he shuffled to the window and pulled away the white lace curtains and brightly smiled at the sight before him.
                          
Outside all the flowers that Robin's been working on have bloomed incredibly and looked almost other worldly, the sun was sparkling onto the lawn deck causing all the morning dew to sparkle making everything look shiny and vibrant.
                          
The captain has seen many beautiful sights in the grandline, but even just a peek out of his window could rival a good number of them.
                          
And to top it all off a few butterflies were seen flapping around the deck along with a couple of birds now flying near one another towards some of Nami's tangerine trees.
                          
Luffy stared at the birds a bit and smiled when a funny thought came to mind.
                          
The more he looked at them, the more they reminded him of himself and Law.
                          
One bird which was the one that reminded him of himself, was plain white and was somewhat the size of a chickadee, with some long tail feathers that had red tips on the end of it, it's eyes were curious and pitch black matching it's small beak.
                          
And the other one, which reminded him of Law, was at least the size of a Blue Jay.
                          
But instead of being sky blue it was midnight blue like Law's hair, and all the feathers were wild and sharp, giving it a bad boy appearance along with the black stripe over it's bluish grey eyes making it look like a burglar or that similar to a raccoon.
                          
Although, the thing that really caught Luffy's attention about it was the bright yellow speckles around it's chest that puffed up when it breathed.
                          
After a few minutes of just standing there, the big one (we're just gonna call them mini Luffy and mini Law), shyly took a peek at mini Luffy from the corner of it's eye and quickly scooted a bit closer, hoping the other didn't notice.
                          
Mini Luffy though, immediately noticed and boldly checked the bigger bird out by turning his head to him and looking all over his feathery body with a blank stare. 
                          
He was openly enjoying the other's features causing mini Law's face to color into a reddish pink at his blunt attitude.
                          
After doing it's personal evaluation on the sleek bird beside him, mini Luffy then fully turned it's body towards the bigger one startling him a bit and making him almost fall off the branch, now he was still shyly watching the smaller bird.
                          
Mini Luffy then greatly puffed up his feathers and spread out his wings, intensely staring down the larger bird and let out a loud. 
                          
"SKKKWWWEEEEEAAAAKK!!"
                          
Mini Law looked startled and shocked as a huge red went to it's face as the tinier bird started to do a strange kind of dance.
                          
Luffy watched the birds, trying his best to not ruin their cute moment and laugh his head off, but the dance the other one was performing to impress mini Law was hilarious! 
                          
After a few more bounces here and there mini Luffy finally finished his dance with a stange yet kinda sexy looking pose.
                          
Waiting for mini Law's reaction, Luffy stared in awe at the colorful birds with such intensity and seriousness one might've called it creepy.
                          
After a few more moments of tranquil silence, mini Law finally spread his wings and started to soar around mini Luffy chirping so happily, you would have thought that the bird has just succeeded in stealing a priceless, rare jewel.
                          
The two then started to tweet and chirp happily with each other as they flew away weaving around each other's wings in perfect sync, disappearing into the group of trees.
                          
Luffy stared at where he saw the birds last and smiled his signature wide smile.
                          
"..I wonder what would happen if I danced for Torao?"
                          
Luffy then turned away from the window to face his slumbering lover, Law's face looked calm and peaceful looking, his chest was completely bare showing off his tattoos while only wearing a pair of dark blue boxers as he hugged a pillow while he slept, completely oblivious to the colorful world around him.
                          
The rubber man then went back to the drawer and finally finished his task of getting dressed.
                          
He then faced the clock and smiled, seeing it was about time the surgeon woke up, with a mischievous smile on his face Luffy backed up a bit and burst into full speed heading right towards the bed.
                          
With a few more steps, he flew off the ground and roughly landed right beside his partner effectively waking him up from the impact.
                          
"W-Wha!?" Law jolted awake and stared at his guilty looking lover with a blank face.
                          
"You...seem extra..excited this morning Luffy-ya" Luffy grinned even wider with dazzled sparkles forming in his eyes.
                          
"YEAH!! WHEN YOU WERE STILL ASLEEP, I SAW THESE TWO BIRDS THAT LOOKED LIKE US!! AND THEN MINE STARTED TO DANCE AROUND! IT WAS SO FUNNY!!"
                          
Law paused still processing what the boy has said.
                          
"Sooo...you said they reminded you of us?" Luffy nodded, "And one of them, that looked like you, started to dance?" Luffy nodded again with a twinkle in his eyes this time.
                          
The other smirked at his cute captain.
                          
"Do you know what it means when a bird dances for another?"
                          
"It means they're nakama right?" Luffy smiled at the dark docter with a innocent smile that rivaled the sun, the other almost felt bad for what he was about to tell him.
                          
Law chuckled at the boy's antics and smirked wider, "no...when a bird dances for another it means it's trying to impress the other one to be it's potential mate, like asking him to go out with him"
                          
Luffy paused recalling the whole scene and blushed a bit, "hm..if you like the idea, maybe instead of the bird, you could dance for me instead~"
                          
The mischievous surgeon wrapped his arms around the rubber man and pulled him into his still naked chest.
                          
Then, Law was about to shower his adorable lover with morning kisses until a holler rang through the entire ship.
                          
"BREAKFAST EVERYONE!!"
                          
Before the doctor could even say mississippi, Luffy already zoomed out of the room like an ignited rocket, "FOOD!!!"
                          
Watching his boyfriend disappear out the door and down the hall, Law let out a sigh, "note to self, start waking up earlier for more alone time with Luffy"
                          
Law lazily rised from the bed and stretched out feeling quite refreshed before getting dressed and scurring outside before someone tried to steal his breakfast (even though Luffy protected it with his life every single morning).
