In 2045 so called asteroids are passing through the milky way system...
"Sir!"shouted Terris,"there are two UFOs flying torwards earth."
"You mean the ones with all the alliens inside?'" joked General Kane.
"No sir i just spoted them on the OBR."
"For real?!" Shouted Kane.
"Yes sir, and moving at the rate of..." said Terris
"the rate of what?' asked Kane.
"100 miles per second." Terris' voice traveled off.
"What?! per second?!" shouted Kane "That's ridiculous!" "When are they gong to hit?" asked Kane.
"In two days." The door screaked in the lab the secratary of defence walked in?"What the fuck is going on?!" shouted Harrison, Secratary Of Defence.
" Terris you tell him, I need to go warn the White House" said Kane.
"No one is going anywhere." said Harrison.
"Harrison, I need to alert the others." said Kane.
"It's Secratary Of Defence for you." replied Harrison.
"Sorry sir." The labaratory, that second got swarmed with other people. They started talking, emailing, and shouting.
"What are you all doing here?" asked Harrison,"this was a private room, how did you get in here?" One of the people ran up to him."We got the codes from higher to bypass the door, and we are ere to disscuss the asteriods coming at us."
A lady ran in."Kane and Harrison I was sent to tell you, you are summoned to the white house immediatly."
" Aw shit, now higher wants us to talk, what the hell am i going to say to them?" asked Harrison."Ok Kane your in charge of breifing them."
"Come on Harrison why can't you?"
"That's Secretary Of Defence to you, Kane"
AT THE WHITE HOUSE---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The members were crouded in the oval office with chairs set up for them.
Kane could pick out at least five of the twenty people there.
"Damn whats holding the president so long?" asked one of the people there.
At this time snacks were being passed around.
Two minuets later the president came in the office."Hello everyone, I hope you all know what we are here for."
He was bad at his job you could see the worring on his face, he was scared.
"Harrison can you come up here and say what you know about this?" asked the president.
"Actually I have someone whao can do that better that me, and thats General Kane."
"General Kane come up and say what you can." the president replied in a stern voice.
As Kane was comming up he saw someone crying, probably from GOC, what an idoit, he should be more focused on saving the plant that crying it out.
Kane started,"Well as many of you know we are on the brink of instinction, two meteriods or so called, are heading this way they will reach us in about two days, no matter where we are the asteroids will kill us, unless were on Jupiter." he continued,"but that is impossible for us so we will have to us nukes to stop them."
"Any questiones?"asked Kane.
"Yeah," said a person from the crowd "why didn't we detect this earlier?"
"That's because the object was moving too fas for our radars or our telescoped to see him at that distance." replied Kane.
There was a long moment of silence.
Then the president said "Ok Kane thank you for the breifing, now we must figure out how to deal with this, all personel that do not have anything to do with space projects may leave.
All of them left but not Kane, even though he was only siping his coffee at the lab because it was quiet, he felt that this had something to do with him.
"Kane that incledes you," said the president.
"But... okay I was just going" said Kane.
The next morning he woke up in his home made him self breakfast, and started of to work in a worried manner.
In front of the White House were reporters.
"Someone reavealled it..."Kane mumbled to himself.
He pushed through the crown and entered the white house.
There sat four neatly dreesed men with guns "General Kane the presedent wants to see you." said one of them.
He went up stairs and knoked on the oval office door. The presedent let him in.
He was scaned by one of the guards witha metal detector. Then the guard walked out of the room
Before the president said some thing, Terris barged through the door and said "Mr. president and General Kane, the asteroids have stopped in front of jupiter!"
"What?" asked Kane.
"Come downstairs, and see."
The president and Kane walked down staires.
There was a TV with an image of two asteroids in front of Jupiter at a full halt.
"Sir we are ready to shot the nukes at them, they are at full halt should we fire?" askd one of the guards.
"Fire.'' said the president.
They watched outside the window as the lawn of the White House got ripped from underneath with around eighteen missle came out of the ground.
They watched on the screen as the missles flew and hit the asteriods.
"yeah!" screamed everyone. Except Terris
"Oh shit" he scrame as on the screen came alert one of the chunks of asteriod came flying at the earth.
"Aprocimate hit to earth in ten minuets" said the computer.
"everyone in the vault" shouted on of the guards "we will be safe there."
Everyone was in the vualt. The vault was a twenty ton box of steel and titanium wit a room inside.
"It will only destroy this White House and a few states around it. it will be the largest crater ever." said Terris.
"Leutenant Terris will we be safe here?" asked the president.
"yes we will" said Terris.
And then everything shook so hard that the lamp that was driled into the cieling came down. No one was hurt though.
After a minuet or two the shaking stopped.
They went outside, they were shooked at what they saw.
"What the Fuu..."
