Chorong's POV
                          
On our 1 year anniversary, I have no idea what happened but Jungkook and I have broken up.
                          
Well... not really broken up as in no longer together but just a broken up as in taking a break.
                          
I guess it's for the best to lie to people so both sides don't get hurt but... I wonder if I made the right choice to agree.
                          
Cause not long after the apparent break up, Jungkook was caught in a dating scandal which big hit admitted that they were dating.
                          
I didn't talk nor did I let him explain over the phone, I wanted to do it face to face even if the truth hurts.
                          
This types of thing isn't really new when it comes to the entertainment industry but having to experience it breaks my heart.
                          
But as time went by, unlike hating the relationship and threatening like what happened to me and jungkook's relationship. The fans were pleased with the girl. They've even been caught in the public kissing, holding hands and hugging.
                          
Now I know what long distance relationship feels...
                          
I wonder if we want to be with someone we love, do we have to sacrifice something that's of value to us?
                          
I can't sacrifice apink's future anymore.
                          
They are my second family; my sisters.
                          
I guess due to some shock caused by the news of jungkook and that girl, I can't even focus at the things I have to do.
                          
Every night I think to myself of the times that jungkook and I were together. We completed each other.
                          
But not all fairytales has a happy ending or a smooth road.
                          
I knew that I have to give him up for real, no more lies to tell, no more guilt taking over my soul.

Jungkook's POV
                          
When news of my relationship with Chorong ended, fans were overjoyed but then came my company's decision to make me date another girl.
                          
I hated the idea at first but I guess it's a mans instinct to fall for a beautiful girl.
                          
She was very supportive and the more I spent time with her, the more I fell in love.
                          
I knew I was forgetting something though, that was... I was not fully broken up with Chorong.
                          
But I couldn't do anything neither could she.
                          
BTS is gaining massive popularity worldwide and dating another famous celebrity doesn't help.
                          
It was a simple question to choose from but neither can be happy.
                          
"Would you sacrifice BTS to be with the girl you love? Or would you let go of the one who loves you from the bottom of her heart just for your career?"
                          
Maybe if we didn't meet them all this wouldn't have happened?
                          
Maybe if we never got to know each other then maybe I wouldn't have fallen hard for her?
                          
If only I could get both sides then maybe no more lies have to be told. The guilt wouldn't be eating my soul for every lie that we told.
                          
No sacrifices could be made.

Narrator's POV
                          
Both Jungkook and Chorong had to let go and go separate paths before anymore bad things could happen.
                          
They weren't the only ones to get affected; their group members, the company and their fans were affected.
                          
Not everyone can walk to the path that they want.
                          
Lying to people, unable to say the truth wasn't their choice.
                          
I wonder... how will they act when they meet again?

I am sorry for not updating everyone and because I have not been updating this story, I will try to publish stories on sundays.
