Chapter 15

                                    

                                          
I woke up feeling so sleepy. I had to go to work to day. Today was my first day of work and I couldn't be late. So I got out of bed and changed clothes. I did my hair, put some lipstick on, and then got my purse. It already had my keys, so I just put my phone in. I walked down the stairs and then unlocked the door. Once I was outside I got my keys out and locked the door. I then started speed walking to the café. I was just on time when I got there.

After work I went to my flat. The first day went fast. I learned the basics. They said that I didn't have uniform. Just to wear something appropriate. Which I was fine with. 
                          
Once I was inside my flat, I went to the kitchen. I opened up the fridge and pulled out some milk. I closed the fridge and got out a paper bowl and some cereal. I poured myself a bowl of cereal. I put everything away and then got out a spoon. I ate my cereal in silence and then went to my room. I decided to call me mom since I hadn't talked to her. I called and we talked for twenty minutes. After I was done talking to my mom, I decided to make myself a sandwich. I went to the kitchen and made a sandwich. I ate my sandwich and went to my room. I grabbed my laptop and then put some anime on. I watched anime for an hour. Then, I decided to go out and go explore London. I grabbed my phone and my bag. I went down the stairs and opened the door. I walked outside and then started walking down the street. I found a cool small shop and walked in. It was a small CD shop. I looked around and then found Vessel. (It's a twenty one pilots album) I was so excited. I had never found Vessel in any other CD store. I took it with me and kept walking around. When I was finished looking, I went to the cashier and bought the album. I walked out the store and then kept walking down the sidewalk. I found this park and then sat down on one of the empty benches. I sat there in silence as I was looked to the pond. There I was stuck with my thoughts until I felt someone's hand on my right shoulder. I looked up from the pond and saw Dan's face. 
                          
"Hey, what are you doing here all alone?" He asked me as he sat down next to me.
                          
"I just decided to walk around" I said now looking back at the pond.
                          
"Oh okay" He said.
                          
"What are you doing here?" I asked now looking at him who was looking at the pond.
                          
"I just wanted to walk around town" He explained.
                          
"What about Phil?" I asked.
                          
"He didn't feel like coming" Dan explained.
                          
"Oh okay" I said as I looked back at the pond.
                          
"Would you like walk some more" Dan suggested.
                          
"Sure" I said.
  
We got up off the bench and then started walked down the street. We walked until it started getting dark. The time was probably eight. We walked until we found another park. We found an empty bench and sat down. I looked up to the night sky. It was so beautiful. It was filled with shining stars. It was absolutely perfect. 
                          
"I've never met someone like you" Dan said.
                          
I faced to look at him. He was staring at me.
                          
"What do you mean?" I asked still looking into his dark chocolate eyes.
                          
"Your funny, your nerdy, you don't care what other people think of you" He explained himself.
                          
"I'm not that funny" I said.
                          
"You are. Your amazing" Dan said as he was staring into my ugly brown eyes.
                          
He moved closer to me and before I knew it, he lips were pressed against mine. I closed my eyes and put one hand in his hair and the other on his back. I enjoyed the sensation of the kiss. He was gentle and soft. The kiss was done before I wanted it to be. He pulled away and we were left just staring at each other.
                          
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to" He said awkwardly.
                          
"No, it okay" I said not knowing what else to say.
                          
After a minute or so, Dan stood up.
                          
"It's getting late. We should probably start going home" He said.
                          
I stood up and followed him. Some how our hands found each other. We held each others hand until we got to my flat. I pulled out the keys and unlocked the door.
                          
"Goodnight Daniel" I said.
                          
"Goodnight Mackenzie" He said back.
                          
I opened the door and walked in. Once I was inside I closed the door and locked it.
