I sat at my desk at looked out the window at the beautiful sunset. I sighed and flipped another page in my Detective and Criminal book until I came across an entertaining article. It was like reading cat and mouse. There were so many interesting words that popped out to me, but the main thing I read had really given me chills. It reminded me of Light, and the way he'd been acting lately. It was like he had something to hide... And maybe he did. Why else would that MSN who was clearly an officer be trailing him? Why else would a big league detective be coming to a college and trailing him?! The Kira case was not solved and criminals were still dying left and right.
"HE SUSPECTS LIGHT!?" I shouted and closed my book. I quickly ran over to my bag to dig out another book on the subject. As I read, I decided to turn on my Tv in the room. More criminals dying, no Kira found. Could it actually be true that my Light is a suspect? Out of all the people in the Kanto region... Would they suspect me too? I couldn't find any link to L and Light other than Chief Yagami. Sometimes had to happen for Light to become a suspect. In fact, he has been acting strange. "Then this will come in handy." I said as I pulled my camera out of my drawer. "Thanks Matsuda. Your purchase shall not go in vain."

"Are you sure that you're not coming? There's a lot of opening activities on campus today before classes actually start." I heard Light's voice over the phone. I gave another fake cough and yawned. "No, I'm sick silly." I laughed with a fake raspy voice. "Aww. Are you sure you don't want me to take care of you? I know your dad's at work right now." Light sounded worried. If I wanted my plan to work then I had to convince him to go on without me. "No Light. I just want to sleep and be alone." I lied to him. There was a moment of silence and then I heard a sigh. "Alright, I understand. But you better not dare hesitate to call me if something happens. I love you May."
"I love you too. Have fun and be safe." I clicked the end button and hopped out of bed. After getting ready for the day, I grabbed my camera and slipped on a disguise of sorts. Black sunglasses, sunhat, and a summer dress was my choice in stealthy clothing. I made it out in time to trail behind Light. He did normal things on his way to the train station. He did normal things when he got on campus. He did normal things until...
"Why is he-???" Light began interacting with Hideki... L again. I snapped a quick picture and watched as they headed to the athlete locker rooms. Light soon came out wearing a tennis outfit but L was wearing the same old baggy clothes. The two were gearing up to play tennis???
That's just what they did too. I had to snap a picture, not because it was suspicious but because it was amazing to see. I didn't think L could move like that, and I had no idea that Light was once a tennis champ. I soon found myself completely focused more on the game than on the amateur investigation. A few rounds went by and I found myself cheering with everyone else when Light had won. Pretty soon, it was back to the investigation.
I trailed too far behind so I couldn't hear their conversation very well. I caught up to them and could hear L say "I suspect that you are in fact Kira." The two stopped walking and Light began to turn around. I dove into the bushes so he wouldn't see me. Judging by his face, he wasn't all that happy to hear those words but who would be? Of course they talked for a bit, but soon they kept moving. A couple of blocks down, there was a coffee shop. I watched them go there and decided my job was done for the day. There was no way I could go any further with them. They'd definitely notice if I walked into the shop. It was much different from the one by the highschool.
"Fair enough. I've got all I need and the case is solved. L does in fact suspect Light of being Kira. That's why he's being followed." But there's something else about it that bothered me as I headed home. This all means that Light lied about the man following him. Also, the man who had hijacked the bus had died. Light was there for that. Light also witnessed the man who died after trying to sexually assault the woman outside of the convenience store that night. Kira only really kills big criminals who are displayed on the news. So how did Kira know to kill those small criminals then?
On top of that, Light was scrolling through the list of criminals a couple of times I was with him. Afterwards, all those criminals were eliminated by Kira. All of this stuff... All of it seemed to be piecing together so I can understand why he was a suspect. But still, I refuse to believe Light is Kira. There's still the question of how Kira kills.
If I had told him that I think he's Kira... Would he be as angry as he was when I asked those questions yesterday? If I told him that I think he's Kira... And he actually was Kira, would he kill me.
