It was chaos. Every building that surrounded them was burning down. People were screaming bloody murder and running from more of the shadowy creatures who were laughing there heads off. Hundreds of people were either a dead body piled on the street or are barely holding up. Everything around the padawan and master was horrific sight. Kanan saw Ezra with his eyes closed and ears plugged with his hands.

A scream caught Kanan's attention and he turned around. There sitting in the middle of the street was the little red head girl, Melody. Where was her mother? What is this place? What's going on?! All these questions swirled in Kanan's head. Then a light on the horizon made him snap out of his thoughts and blind him. When the light was gone the scene changed. It seemed to be a little bit later in the morning. The building stopped burning and hundreds of bodies laid everywhere. There was no shadow creature in sight. The group of soul survivors looked like they have been through a war. They had burn marks and ashes with blood pouring out almost every body part I could name and more. There clothes were all tattered and stained with all sorts of things. Lets just say, it was a mess. A huge and horrible mess. The group all stood together seeking comfort and hope from one and another.

Another flash sent Ezra and Kanan to a black area. Both of them looked around. "I don't remember this part," Ezra said confused. They turned around and saw the little red headed girl standing there staring at them. "Hello," Ezra said but the girl didn't even move a muscle. Ezra gave confused look at Kanan and turned his attention back on the girl. All of a sudden she started to speak, "....... The shadows came.....". A bubble formed in front of them and showed the shadow creatures entering the big village in the shadows. The bubble popped and the girl continued. ".......The shadows went....." Another bubble formed and showed the creatures flying back into the jungle. The bubble popped. ".......they stole the lives of the innocent.....". Another bubble showing the piled bodies of innocent people lying on the street dead. The bubble popped again and a new bubble form but it was bigger than the other ones. This time the girl was in it and was standing in front of all the chaos alone. She looked scared and was crying.

The girl continued, ".....Now I see people lay still, dead on the ground. They don't move an inch or they don't even flinch. As there once called homes burn down. Time passes as the town grows silent, not a single word, not a single sound. My world stops revolving and my heart stops beating.....". The image on the bubble starts to fade as the girl still went on. ".....Loneliness consumes me and that fire that gave me a spark....". The picture soon turned black. ".....faded into my new friend I call the dark....". The bubble turned black and popped. Black smoke came out and started to form something behind the girl. It stopped forming and showed a one of those shadow creatures.

The creature opened its eyes and pounced on Melody. It swallowed her up in one gulp. Then it looked over at Ezra and Kanan with a crazy grin. It jumped at them in a blink of an eye and both Ezra and Kanan awoke from there trance breathing hard.

Kanan gave Ezra a pitiful look. Ezra noticed it and stood up. He didn't like it when people pitted him. Kanan also stood up and was about to say something when there communicator went off. He took it off of his belt and heard Hera's voice on the other side. "5 minutes, be ready everyone" Hera said. Ezra went to the cockpit followed by Kanan. "You know we are going to talk about this later, right?" Kanan said. "Yeah," Ezra muttered under his breath. By the time both Ezra and Kanan arrived, Sabine was in her seat and Zeb was standing off to the side. Ezra sat in the seat next to hers. "Entering planet's atmosphere," Hera said messing with a couple of switches. "What is this planet's name anyway?" Sabine asked. "I told you once and I'll tell you once more. We told you everything we know about this place," Hera said, strangely calm. "That's weird," Zeb commented. "What's weird, not knowing the planet's name or Hera staying calm," Kanan joked getting and glare from Hera.

Hera was going to reply when a beeping cut her off. She took all of her focus to see what was wrong. Everyone gave each other a confused glance. "Hera?" Kanan asked, "what's going o-". He was cut off when the ship started to shake violently. The power went out shortly after that. "Hera!" Kanan yelled. Hera stopped fiddling with the buttons and levers and yelled, "brace yourselves everyone, we're going to crash!". The crew went to the common room and huddled together in a corner.

BOOM!

The Ghost crashed. The crew was laid in different spots in the common room. They started to wake up to themselves covered from head to toe in cuts and bruises. "Is everyone alright?" Hera said worriedly. They all replied with a 'yeah' and Chopper beeped a 'yes'. Surprisingly, the Ghost was still in one piece but it was unable to fly until further notice. Hera helped patch everyone up. "Hera, what happened?" Sabine asked. "To tell the truth," Hera paused and continued, "....I don't know.....". Each Specter gave a little bit of a shocked expression at what the pilot revealed. Hera is the one who knows her ship like the back of her hand. "So," Zeb
awkwardly said, "what now?". Kanan thought for a minute, before saying, "what we cam to do". He stood up and felt that something was off about the place. "Kanan, what's wrong?" Hera quickly said. Kanan was trying to use the force, but seemed to struggle. "I don't know," he said confused, "it's like I'm not connected to the force anymore".

Now that information shocked them even more. "Here, let me try," Ezra said. He stretched his arm out and was attempting to lift a chair. Ezra opened his eyes and was flabbergasted. The chair didn't even move, not even the slightest movement. "What's going on?" Ezra said worried. Both him and Kanan were looking at there hands. "What kind of planet suddenly shut this piece of scrap up,"Zeb said getting glared at by Hera.  "Piece of scrape, Zeb?" Hera replied angry. Zeb gave a nervous smile and put his hands up in a 'calm down' manor. He continued when Hera calmed down, "anyways, and Kanan and Ezra can't even use there force powers". A loud boom and violent shaking of the Ghost made everyone snap out of there thoughts. Then the shaking stopped. "What was that?" Sabine said sprawled out on the floor. A loud roar came and the shaking came back. Another noise of snapping branches and vines came making the Ghost slant a lot. "I think the Ghost landed in a bunch of trees and vines," Sabine shouted, "and now I think we should probably get out of here before it falls". A roar came and the shaking stopped. A different roar came before the sounds of booms and bangs started. It was like the thing that attacked the Ghost was distracted. "Come on crew, time to go, now!" Hera yelled. They didn't have to be told twice and ran to the docking bay.  Zeb pushed the button to open the ramp. It didn't open. Chopper flew over to the wall, attaching his legs to the floor and put his arm in the wall turning his mechanical arm. The ramp started to open and when it was wide enough they climbed up using whatever was sticking out of the wall. When they reached the end of the ramp, they looked down to see how far they were from the ground. It was at least a 40 feet drop. So, the crew decided to use the branches to climb down. The battle beneath them raged on. Ezra took a quick peek and saw strange looking animals that had powers unknown to him. 'Where are we?' He kept thinking about that same thing ever since they got there. His curiosity was growing more and more.

The crew climbed down the tree as fast and quiet as they could, so the strange magic animals wouldn't see them. Once the rebels were on the ground they quietly left or tried to. Snap! Zeb stepped on a branch. The crew froze and looked to see if the animals saw them. To there luck, they were still in a heated battle. They signed in relief and glared at Zeb who was giving a sheepish look. They kept on sneaking away until it left safe enough. The rebels found a sand path and walked down it in silence. Eventually, it was getting dark, but again they were in luck. There was a silhouette of a village up in the distance. The specters gave each other a smile and ran to the village. Little did they know that, that was just the beginning of the living nightmare.
