Chapter 43 "SEXY!"

                                    

                                          
The bus arrives at the venue. Everyone exits the bus and heads inside, except Severide and Shaylynn. Steve, the bus driver hands her the keys and shows her how to lock the door. He winks at her while she shuts the door.
Inside the venue, the ladies are having one hell of time! The ones having the most fun are the married ladies. Trudy is having a great time and was even brought up on stage.
While things are getting wild inside, out in the bus things are getting hot, nasty, and steamy. It's a good thing the bus is parked behind the venue or the police might be called. It wouldn't look good for Hank Voight's daughter and son-in-law to be busted for having sex a little to loud inside a bus. Especially a Thunder From Down Under bus.
                          
The show is over. Steve starts knocking on the bus door to let Shaylynn and Severide know that the other ladies will be coming out soon. After a round of pictures with the guys, the ladies start making their way out to the bus. 
Shaylynn is standing outside by the bus smiling at the ladies as they walk up to her. Dawson is in the lead and is smiling from ear to ear.
"Did you enjoy yourself, Gabby?" Shaylynn asks her.
"Very much! I see you enjoyed yourself also! You have that "I just got fucked" look to you!" Dawson tells Shaylynn with a huge smile on her face.
Brett walks up behind Dawson as she's talking to Shaylynn, "Gabby! I can't believe you said that!"
Dawson turns to look at Brett, "What? Well, it's true!" she turns back around and starts heading up the bus steps.
Shaylynn smacks Dawson on the ass, "I bet you're going to have the same look in the morning!"
Dawson turns to look at Shaylynn, "I hope so!" she says with a smile.
The other ladies start heading toward the bus and get on board, but three are still missing.
Shaylynn is just about to head inside the venue, when they appear. Burgess and Lindsay are helping Trudy walk out to the bus. Shaylynn gets a HUGE smile on her face.
"Looks like Trudy had a great time!" Shaylynn says as the ladies get closer.
"Oh yeah, she had a great time! Those guys gave her one hell of a show. Different guys had her up on stage. Plus she had a little too much to drink!" Lindsay tells Shaylynn.
"I hope she's able to get up in the morning for work" Burgess says.
Shaylynn helps Lindsay and Burgess get Trudy on the bus. They pass Steve wiping off the front and side windows.
Burgess looks at him weird, "What's the deal with the windows?" she asks him.
"Shaylynn and her Fireman steamed them up!" he tells her.
Trudy starts laughing at Steve's answer, which gets everyone laughing.
Shaylynn makes good on her promise and drops all the ladies off at their houses.
                          
The next morning at the Firehouse, the tales of last night can be seen. For once Severide and Shaylynn are one of the few who are at the Firehouse early. Along with them, Capp, Tony, Otis, and Cruz are also there. All of them are sitting at the table talking.
Slowly, the others start arriving. 
Herrmann comes walking in with a spring in his step and a big smile on his face.
"Did you have a good night, Herrmann?" Cruz asks.
"Had an AWESOME night!" Herrmann says with a even bigger smile on his face.
Next to walk in is Boden. He sees Shaylynn, smiles and heads toward the offices. Casey and Dawson are the next ones to arrive. They walk into the common area, both with big smiles on their faces.
Shaylynn looks at Dawson, "There's that look!"
Dawson can only smile.
The next one to arrive is Mouch. He looks like he has been up all night the way he is dragging himself into the common area. 
Everyone starts snickering at the sight.
Mouch looks at Shaylynn, then drags himself to the couch and sits down in his spot.
"What's wrong. Mouch?" Otis asks him.
"I think I only got two hours of sleep!" he tells Otis.
Everyone starts snickering even more.
Mouch looks back at Shaylynn, "Trudy is never to go to one of those shows again!"
Shaylynn starts laughing so hard she falls out of her chair. She gets up and heads back to the kitchen where Dawson is.
"Looks like you had a great night!" Shaylynn says to Dawson.
"It was great! Thank goodness we didn't wake Louie up. Is Brett and Kidd here yet?" she asks Shaylynn.
"You know, I haven't seen them. Take that back, looks like Kidd is finally walking in. I'll call Brett."
Shaylynn takes out her phone, finds Brett's number and calls.
"Hello"
Shaylynn looks at Dawson confused, looks at her phone to make sure she called the right number, then puts the phone back up to her ear. Kidd walks back to the kitchen to see what Dawson and Shaylynn are up to. 
"Jimmy? Why do you have Brett's phone?" Shaylynn asks. This gets Dawson and Kidd's attention. 
"Shaylynn?" Jimmy asks.
"Yes, Jimmy. I'm glad we have established who we are, is Brett with you?"
Shaylynn can hear something wrestling in the background and faint mumbling, "Damn it, Jimmy! Give me the phone, Jimmy! Jimmy, give me the phone! Hello! Hello, Shaylynn.." 
Shaylynn is laughing her ass off!
"Hello, Brett! This is your morning wake up call to remind you and your hook up that you're late for work."
"Damn it! The alarm never went off!" Shaylynn can hear Brett say muffled. 
"You and Jimmy better be hurrying up" Shaylynn tells Brett.
"Okay, we'll be on our way, I mean I'll be on my way."
"Brett, you're busted! Don't even try to fool me!" Shaylynn tells her trying to hold back the laughing.
"So Brett hooked up with Jimmy last night. Nice!" Dawson says.
"I wonder if Brett called him or Jimmy just happened to show up after Brett was dropped off?" Kidd asks.
Shaylynn can't stop laughing.
Boden comes walking into the kitchen area, "I need some coffee!" he mumbles.
Dawson, Kidd, and Shaylynn start laughing harder.
Finally Brett and Jimmy show up. They walk in at separate times trying not to look suspicious.
The ladies can't help but start laughing all over again.
                          
A couple of hours go by and no calls have come in. 
Jimmy starts preparing lunch for the crew, Shaylynn goes back to help him.
"You really don't have to help. I can take care of it" Jimmy tells her.
"In my other line of work, if you didn't help cook, you didn't eat" she tells Jimmy.
"Thanks!" he tells Shaylynn smiling at her.
"Also I figured you might be tired after a long night" she says to Jimmy while smiling.
Jimmy just glares at her. Shaylynn can't help but start laughing again.
Dawson sees Shaylynn back in the kitchen helping Jimmy, so she decides to help out. 
                          
While they're fixing lunch, Antonio and Hank walk into the Firehouse.
"What's going on, Gentlemen?" Boden asks.
Antonio speaks up, "I was wondering if 51 would be interested in having another Battle Of The Badges? The proceeds will be going to the Boy's and Girl's Club."
"I'm game!" Jimmy shouts out.
Everyone shouts out "NO!"
Antonio laughs, "This way CPD can win the title again!"
Dawson looks at Shaylynn, then looks at Antonio.
"We accept your challenge, Antonio!" Dawson shouts out.
"We do?" Mouch says back to her.
"Yes, we do!" 
"You know it's going to be me in the ring. Who are you guys going to sacrifice, I mean choose to represent 51?" Antonio asks.
"Shaylynn!" Dawson shouts out.
Severide looks surprised, while Shaylynn looks up. She looks at Dawson and then looks at Antonio, "I have no clue what you two are talking about."
"Whoa! Wait!" Antonio says to Dawson.
"What's wrong, Antonio? Are you worried?" Dawson asks him.
"No! It's just that she was in the Special Forces is all" he tells Dawson.
"Can you please tell me what you're talking about and what I just got roped into?" Shaylynn says to Dawson.
"Battle of the Badges is a boxing match that Mouch thought up. The first one, the proceeds went to those affected by the events at the Morrison Center for African American Culture. The "title" went to CPD when Antonio knocked Jimmy out" Dawson tells Shaylynn.
"A boxing match? But Gabby, I don't box...." Shaylynn says looking at Dawson.
"See! She just said she doesn't box...." Antonio says.
"I fight! There's a huge difference between the two" Shaylynn says looking at Antonio who has a surprised look on his face from her answer. 
Dawson starts laughing at the expression on her brother's face, "So it's settled, the second Battle of the Badges is on! For CPD it will be Antonio. For CFD it will be Shaylynn!"
"Wait! With all the guys in CFD, none of them can do this?" Shaylynn asks.
"See, Shaylynn doesn't want to do it. Women shouldn't fight anyways" Antonio says and wishing he didn't when he sees the look on Shaylynn's face.
"OH! Now it's on, Antonio!" Shaylynn tells him. 
Dawson throws her arms up into the air like she just won the lottery. All of the fire crew is in shock about what just happened, while Hank is shaking his head.
"When is this going to happen?" Shaylynn asks Antonio.
"How about a month from now. That way people have plenty of time to purchase tickets. Also you have plenty of time to train" Antonio tells her.
Shaylynn laughs at him.
"I don't need to train, I've already been trained!"
Now Antonio looks worried.
