I opened the door to Geography and there she was in the corner as usual, reading  book and minding her own business. She didn't seem to care about the people walking in and out, she was in that little world of hers again. I wonder what went on in her head, did she ever think about me? Did she notice the way I looked at her yesterday? Is that why she left so sudden?

Who knows what goes on in her head. She is Mia Brown, one of the smartest kids in school. I'm not surprised if shes thinking about Maths problems or book club. But if she didn't, I hope there was space for me in her head.

I pulled out my chair sliding it firmly against the floor, making a loud screech so I could get Mia's attention. She didn't move a muscle, I wasn't stopping her from putting down her book. It seemed like she had ear muffs on, If I were here I would do the same thing. It was noisy as usual, only until Mr. Jones walks in, the room is dead silent.

I ripped out a piece of paper from my book and wrote "Hey Ramiyah, meet at mine tonight?" I scrunched it up into a ball form and through it at her aiming for her chest, getting perfect accuracy. She got a little shock and opened it up. Before she read it she looked around in suspicion as I quickly covered my face acting innocent.

I watched as she read the note and a little smile appeared on her face. She rolled her eyes and searched the class room looking for me. Once she found me she shot a cheeky glare at me and wrote at the back of the note before throwing it back at me.

I opened it up and read "I will, only if you stop calling me that Candy Kane lol." I smiled at the name "Candy Kane" usually I would cringe if someone called me that, but with Mia it made me smile.

The rest of our geography lesson was listening to Mr. Jones go on and on about The Himalayas. I almost fell asleep half way through, but Mia seemed focused, processing every word that came out of Mr. Jones mouth.

Class was over and I had explained everything to Jax. Everyone was getting there belongings and heading out the door. I looked around the room and there was no sign of Mia, she was gone, again. I wasn't surprised how fast she left, after all she is the soccer winger and captain.

I raced out of class searching high and low through the corridors, still no sign of her. I ran outside onto the school grounds and the engine of her car just started. I ran towards her car as fast as I could, but there was no point. She was gone.

I heard a knock at my door and jumped up from bed with excitement. I unlocked the door and she stood there positioned awkwardly with a pile of books in her hands and a star bucks bag in her hand. I lead her inside as she placed all the books on the kitchen bench along with the Starbucks food bag.

"Do I get a Hi?" I asked.

"Oh sorry, I didn't see you there." She said sarcastically, as she giggled.

"So whats with all the books?"

"They're for you, there Geography work books. I figured they would help you."

"Thanks I said, I don't need help, I know everything about Geography." I lied.

"If you love it some much, explain why were you asleep in class today?" She said proving me wrong.

"So, what's with the Starbucks." I asked changing the subject.

"Well, I figured instead of drinking diet coke every so often, that we could have something different. I got you your favourite."

"Java berry frappuccino?" I asked smiling.

"Yep, with extra chocolate and berries." She replied

"Thanks, but you didn't need to go out of your way to do this. Why are you doing this anyways."

"Because, after all those diet cokes, you deserve something too right?"

I smiled and lead us both to my bedroom, insisting to hold her books for her. We both sat on the bed drinking out drinks while she sat there reading her book and as I sat there gazing at her. I was to be on my phone, so when I looked at her she didn't find me creepy.

Today she wore a singlet that showed most of her skin. Her skin was tanned brown with a small birthmark placed on her shoulder. Her skin looked warm and smooth. Her hair glistened in the light with her hazel eyes dazzling.

We were both done with out drinks and had a look through our notes and work. Everything was completed and organised. I was putting the last parts of the notes together while Mia was writing an e-mail to Mr. Jones. We had both finished earlier then planned and the due date was only in 2 weeks. I thanked Mia, she would go home and do little touch ups on our work and finish off the things I didn't complete.

Mia sat there watching me as I put the book she gave me away. I could feel her eyes lingering on me from behind. I didn't want her to leave, I wanted her company more then ever. I probably knew what she was thinking, she wanted to get out of here, after all she doesn't like me at all.

Mia looked at the time on her phone and at me again.

"I think I should be heading off, before it gets late."

I didn't want her to go. We hardly speak to each other and she doesn't seem to notice that I hate it. I hate the silence, I want to get to know her. All I want to do it say "No, please stay for a little longer." But I know she wouldn't, she doesn't trust me. She still thinks of me as the school player and jerk. But since I've met her I've started to change. I just need her to see that. See that I am falling for her.
