As we arrived to Bristol, we found that their campus had been destroyed as well. It wasn't as destroyed as ours and with a few repairments, could still be salvaged. We found their survivors and started to help them clean up. As we were cleaning up the campus, Natalie called a tri-campus meeting.

"The war has started. We can beat the German school in numbers, but they are able to crush us due to their inhuman strength and better preparation. We need to train everyday, so we will be having one on one fights. Your partners will be assigned and I don't expect any one of you to go easy. Tomorrow the rest of my school and Ireland's school will arrive here. You will fight people of all ages. In one month's time, we will be leading an attack at Germany's campus. Train hard. The first round will be in three minutes for those of you who are well enough to fight. Those not fighting are required to watch one of the twenty fights going on. Now disperse." She addressed us.

I went with Oliver to check the boards. As soon as we got there, I immediately saw my name. Round 3 - Elizabeth Blake vs. Spencer Roosevelt: Arena 6

"When are you fighting, love?" asked Oliver.

"Round 3. You?" I replied.

"Round two," he said.

"Yay! I get to watch my boyfriend fight," I gently kissed his cheek.

We walked to arena four to watch Lily fight Keegan. Keegan and Kaira had obtained the power to create plants. Their fight started and Lily immediately materialized a pistol and aimed for his shoulder. Keegan teleported behind her, just as she took a shot. He made a vine grow around her ankles, but she was too quick. She shot behind her back, surprising him. He expertly hit his kneecap, and he screamed, falling to the ground. She shot at him again, but he teleported again. He had another plant grow, grabbing her gun. As soon as it left her hands, it dematerialized. She started forming a bow and arrows, but he threw an apple at her, knocking her out. As soon as she hit the ground, the buzzer sounded, signaling that Keegan had won the match. He grinned smugly as he left the arena, making me want to punch the grin off of his face.

"Round two starts in ten minutes," Natalie's voice rang through the loud speakers.

I grabbed Oliver's hand and we walked to arena 12. He suited up in the locker room, and then I gave him a kiss for good luck. I went to the bleachers and found Jaime and Marcus there as well. I smiled to myself when I noticed their interlocked fingers. I sat next to Jaime and started to giggle a little.

"Shut up," she muttered, laughing.

We heard a loud buzzer, signaling the start of the round.

"Go Oli! Come on, love!" I screamed.

"Shut up, Eli. You're embarrassing me," she blushed, looking around.

We cheered for Oliver in a quieter manner. He was fighting a blind water thrower. Oliver snuck up on him and touch his eyes. The boy blinked as Oliver breathed fire towards him, but the boy was quick and put up a wall of water. He was stunned by the sudden brightness and staggered back. Oliver took the time to breath fire. The boy put up another wall of water and threw water balls at Oliver. Oliver tried to counter the attack, but the water quickly put out the fire. The boy ran, not stopping his water balls, and conjured up all of the water he could. He unleashed it at Oliver, who knocked out immediately. I ran to the front and found him being revived. He sat up slowly, his face showing pain.

"I'm okay, Eli. Just focus on your match and win," he smiled.

I assured him I would and watched as he was carted away to the infirmary. I went to my arena and put on black yoga pants and a green tank top. I walked into the arena and saw my opponent stretching. She had bright yellow eyes and short black hair. She looked to be around seventeen, but she would be a fierce opponent. I heard the buzzer go off and I prepared myself for the fight. I pulled into her mind and found that she had electric powers. I told her to shock herself, and then I pulled away before I got injured.I shot a blast of ice at her, but the shock didn't affect her. She consumed the shock and redirected it towards me. I moved out of the way, but it nipped my left shoulder. I flinched at the cut, but ignored it. I, then, encased Spencer with ice, and re-entered her mind. I told her to shock herself again. She couldn't absorb the shock this time, but it barely did anything to her, but melt the ice a little. I swore under my breath as she whipped me. The whip was too fast and hit my cheek and mouth. I wiped the blood away and blasted ice at her as fast as I could. It hit her, stunning her for a while. I took that time to punch her, knocking her out. I left the arena, met by a nurse who quickly patched up my arm and cheek. Then I went to the infirmary to check up on Oliver, hoping he was doing okay. He was conscious and drinking soup in his hospital bed.
