Chapter 7

                                    

                                          
The noise of the waiting room bounced off of every wall, welcoming Garroth with the usual sight of dullness when he reentered the area. On the other side of the room, however, sat two other adults, trying to cope with the same broadness.
                          
Travis was the first one to notice the young man. He seemed merely recognizable with the sight of his internet friend, but his certainties were unsure.
                          
He looked to his right to Katelyn, who was distracted by her phone. He tapped her shoulder to get her attention, which successfully cause her to look up, "Is that Garroth?" Travis pointed unnoticeable at the blonde, who, too, had his nose stuck in his phone.
                          
"Hmm..." Katelyn tilted her head slightly, trying to find a resemblance, "He does look awfully familiar..."
                          
"Should we send Garroth a message and see what he says back?"
                          
Katelyn nodded, agreeing with the plan, "Good tactic, Travis. Me or you?"
                          
"What about both of us?" Travis wiggled his eyebrows playfully at her. In return, Katelyn shoved him gently, exclaiming, "Eww, what the hell!"
                          
FirePunch_9: Hey Garroth I'm here. 
                          
"Okay your turn," Katelyn said curtly, nudging Travis with her elbow.
                          
ChickMagnet: She's here with me ;)
                          
FirePunch_9: Whatever... It's nothing, don't be suspicious on how we know each other's faces from one glance heheheheh....
                          
FirePunch_9: Ignore that part
                          
GarGar_Teh_Guard: Oh, really?
                          
GarGar_Teh_Guard: I 'm sitting beside an empty chair with a backpack in it and an old man with a beard as long as Dumbledore's
                          
Katelyn looked up from her phone and stared in his direction, eyes squinted slightly.
                          
A nod was Travis's response, followed with, "It appears to be."
                          
ChickMagnet: Do you see the girl with the blue hair and the charming man with the handsome platinum hair? That's us.
                          
Garroth, too, looked up from his phone and caught sight of the two. 
                          
GarGar_Teh_Guard: I see you two. Is it okay if I go over to sit in one of those empty seats by you two?
                          
FirePunch_9: Yeah they're up for grabs.
                          
He slowly stood up and grabbed the two bags he had and made his way over to Katelyn and Travis. He approached them with a crooked smile, which seemed to be his own way of saying this was insane for him.
                          
"This is very surreal," is what Garroth first said when he came into earshot of them.
                          
Katelyn answered with a smirk, then said, "Agreed."
                          
"Okay, now that we're just waiting for Lucy, Dante, and Nicole, I think now is an... okay time to bring it up. Has anyone heard from Laurance lately?" Travis asked, crossing his arms.
                          
Katelyn shrugged, "I personally haven't... And when was the last time he was actually on the chat?"
                          
"It's been several weeks..." Garroth said slowly, also trying to think back to when they last heard of him.
                          
All three of their phones vibrate with the notification of a message.
                          
Guard-In-Training-56: Hey everyone. Nicole and I just got to the hospital. We're walking inside now.
