Grace's POV:
I'm sitting in the library with Lewis, and we we're going over notes for our test next period. Well, we were going over notes, but then Lewis got distracted and started texting on his phone. So now I'm just looking at my notes trying to make since of them, when my phone vibrated. I took it out and saw that I got a snapchat from someone. When I checked the ID I couldn't help the smile that started to form on my face. It was a snapchat from Austin. It was a picture of him puffing his cheeks out like a chipmunk. Under it the message said: "Can't wait to see your face when we beat you tonight. "
I laughed. Yes tonight was the concert festival. But oh does he got it wrong if he thinks he is winning.
If you haven't noticed Austin and I are friends now. After that night at Laney's we somehow got closer and have been texting and Snapchatting since then. My feelings for him have changed. I don't see him as that annoying jerk anymore, but as the annoying friend, who can still be that jerk sometimes.
I grabbed my phone and took a picture of me looking confused, and said on the message: "Yeah okay will see, but let's not talk about my face. What's going on with yours?"
I sent the message with a grin on my face.
"What are you smiling about?"
I jumped on my seat. I completely forgot that Lewis was still seating there. I blushed, crap he just saw me smiling like an idiot. Now knowing Lewis he is going to question me nonstop.
"Well, I'm waiting." He said.
"I don't know what your talking about." I said, while hiding my face away from him.
He grunted, "Sure you don't. Well I'm going to take a guess and say that you're talking to some guy you like."
My head shot up. How did he know I was taking to a guy? I mean I don't like him, he is just a friend.
"Judging by you're face, I'm right." He said with a smirk.
" I-I don't know, I-I mean its nothing, just a-"
"Grace calm down. Jeez I'm just messing with yah." Lewis said, interrupting me.
I let out a sigh.
Lewis was staring at me with a smirk on his face.
"You don't have some fellow that I don't know about do you?" Lewis said.
I raised my eyebrow. "Who still says fellow?"
Lewis pointed to himself. "This man does!"
I laughed. "Oh Lewis how I love you."
He smiled. "Love you too."
After he said that the bell rung.
We both got up from are table.
"Come on," Lewis said,"let's go fail this test together."
We entered the room, sitting in our spots next to each other.
Right when I sat down my phone vibrated. I looked down to see Austin had replied back to me.
It was a picture of him chewing something while holding a fork.
His message read: "Eating chicken Alfredo. So good. Don't you wish you were me right now."
At that moment my teacher passed by and handed me my test.
I looked over at Lewis to see him with his head in his hands sighing in defeat.
When the teachers back was turned I took a picture of me looking miserable and saying on the message: "you have no idea."
I put my phone up and stared at my test. After fifteen minutes of writing nothing down. I dropped my pencil and laid my head down.
