"It's Monday. Again.
It seems like everyday is MONDAY. It should be a good thing since it means a new start. Everything bad or good you've done in the past week gets cancelled and you can restart it all. So why does everyone hate Mondays? I still don't get it."

What a beautiful place to be, N.Y.C.
Fresh air, warming sun...lovely people. Oh, wait...Not so lovely.
The night before Veronica had had the proof that really few people are really lovely. But she guessed she shouldn't think at all about that rude boy at the restaurant that had ruined her dinner with Rebecca, her best friend. After all everyone knows boys are all the same. Pricks. Nothing else.
Walking home from work she saw a small cat, black and white, with huge blue eyes. -It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen" she thought" I should absolutely take that cat with me"
So she got closer to the small animal, that was hiding under a bench. She tried to reach it but the cat was fast and started running to hide in a small bush close to the bench. The people around her looked at Veronica like she was mad because the cat was so fast and so small you could hardly see it. "Molly" Veronica heard a voice behind her "Molly where are you?" She turned around. She saw an old woman, covered in black. She looked beautiful and miserable at the same time. "Have you seen my Molly" The woman asked. "You mean that sweet, small cat?" "Yes, my only reason to be alive" "She must be hidden in that bush. She surely got scared of me." "Oh, so could you gently bring her here?" "Of course" Veronica reached to bush and grabbed "Molly". While grabbing the animal she felt a small pain in her left hand. She looked at it. Molly had scratched her hand. Blood was pouring. Veronica didn't really mind.
"Here you are" she said as she put the cat in the woman's hands. The woman was struggling to keep the cat in her hands. As if she couldn't see. Veronica looked up. The woman was blind. She felt horrible. "Oh, my sweer Molly! Never leave me alone again" The woman said while stroking the cat, now sure in her hands. "Thank you so much..."
"Veronica"
"Thank you, Veronica"
"You're welcome. Goodbye." "Goodbye."
Veronica felt so bad she wanted to vomit. She reached home, sat on the couch and started crying. She cried for all the people in the world. The happy ones and the sad ones. That blind woman had touched her heart. Like nothing else before. That blind woman only had that cat and she had been close to steal her it. Who was she? Just because of a stupid wish she could had ruined a woman's life. Why that cat? She knew she wouldn't have been able to keep it. She didn't even have enough place in her flat.
She cried for one hour straight and than fell asleep. It was midnight when she woke up. There was blood on the couch. She looked at her left hand. She was hungry, wounded and had a terrible headache. "I don't care" she thought and she went to bed.
