Seven

                                    

                                          
The music started playing. 
                          
People had their phones out ready to take pictures of me and my father and everything that is happening. Why can't people just live in the moment and not have things played for them later. They're more into the phone than into the reality.
                          
The camera crew and the photographers were walking in front of us.
                          
"Let's go" my dad says. 
                          
We slowly walk in. One foot in front of the other. It feels like I'm never going to get to the front of the church.
                          
I look ahead. I look around the room with the corner of my eyes to see familiar faces. I smile as I look to the front and see Johnny looking at me.  
                          
I look down at my dress. 
                          
"Sweetie you know we can always go back to Australia and be single for ever" he looks at me. 
                          
"Oh my gawd dad" I giggle.
                          
He smiles. 
                          
"I love you honey and I want the best for you"
                          
"Thanks dad" I smile looking ahead. 
                          
We finally get to the front and my dad says what he had practice and handed me over to Johnny. 
                          
"You look amazing"
                          
"Thanks. You clean up well, finally" I smile.
                          
"I always looking amazing" 
                          
"Sure you do" 
                          
We stand in front of the priest. 
                          
He starts the ceremony. I wasn't really paying attention to what he was saying. I was just thinking about what I was doing. 
                          
The ceremony wasn't long so now we were at the moment when we actually made this an actual thing. "Do you Johnny Grande take Melanie Johnson as your...." My mind was racing. My heart was beating hard. I see him saying yes. 
                          
He he than put in the ring on my ring finger. The priest now looks at me. I look behind Johnny and see people looking intensely at me. 
                          
Then Back at Johnny. And the priest. They were both watching my ever move. 
                          
I smile "yes" I say. I put in the ring on him. 
                          
The priest than turns his attention to the public. 
                          
"Does anyone object? Speak now or forever hold your silence" he says.
                          
I look back at the crowd. Looking for that one person. 
                          
When I make eye contact with him he shakes his head. 
                          
"Alright than" the priest continues. "I announce you as husband and wife." 
                          
Johnny stands in front of me looking down at me. He leans in for a kiss. 
                          
People started cheering as Johnny made contact with me. 
                          
After we had done sharing our first kiss as husband and wife we looked at the crowd. 
                          
I looked at the spot he was once seated but he was gone.

We were at the venue watching people dancing. I was resting because I just had finished walking around table by table and thanking people for coming. My shoes were killing me.
                          
We had shared our first dance. 
                          
"I never thought this would be so exhausting" Johnny said sitting down next to me.
                          
I laugh. 
                          
"This place looks amazing" I say.
                          
"It really does. You have a nice taste"
                          
"I'm gunna go change" I tell Johnny. 
                          
"Alright, I'm going to talk to some guest" he says.
                          
I pull Veronica and Tiffany to come help me.

We had been dancing all morning. It was already three and people still had energy to be dancing. 
                          
"I think we should head on out" Johnny says.
                          
"Yeah I think it's best if we do that"
                          
I was tired and so was he. 
                          
James went home already. Well he went to stay with Beau and Daniel for the night.


                          
L U K E
                          
I watched as she said yes to him. That's all I wanted to see. As soon as they started kissing I walked out the church and went my own way. 
                          
Jai followed closely behind. Him and Melanie are the only two who know I'm still alive. 
                          
"Are you okay?" Jai asks.
                          
"Why shouldn't I be?" I turned around calmly.
                          
"We both know that you're good at hiding your feelings and we both know this hurts" 
                          
"If you know than don't ask" I continue walking.
                          
"I tried to get her to call it off" he said.
                          
"I know you did. And thanks but her head was already made. And you know how stubborn she can be" I laugh.
                          
"Where are you going?" He asks.
                          
"Home" 
                          
"Where's home?" Jai asks.
                          
"Home with my family" I replied. "Back to London" 
                          
"I want to spend time with you. Stay a week" 
                          
"I promised Jasmine I'd been home tomorrow" I said.
                          
"Call her, she'll understand"
                          
"I don't think it's a good idea" I say.
                          
"Why not?" I could tell he was annoyed.
                          
"Cause, it'll make me want to stay with you guys again. It was hard the first time. I can't do that again" 
                          
"I don't know why you did it. Nobody told you to do anything like that. We were there for you. You just left and came back 'dead' and now you're alive.... It's some weird shit that you planned but it was clever" 
                          
"Let's go get a coffee or something" I tell Jai.
                          
"Let's go"
